Since Elsa had by an accidently shot Anna her parents had distanced themselves from her, keeping her in her room as much as possibly, as if the young princess was something to be feared and avoided. They never spoke about the day Elsa would become queen, the thought of putting someone in charge of Arendelle which could cause so much damage scared them.
To everyone else the King and Queen of Arendelle was a kind, caring and understanding couple. But after being shut in for a number of years Elsa struggled to see this.
After the accident The King and Queen thought it would be impossible for Elsa to ever find anyone to love her, with a curse like that surely she was unlovable, so they created a plan that would take place on the day of her coronation.
The dreaded day finally arrived where Arendelle would have a new Queen. Queen Elsa of Arendelle. Elsa made sure not to let her powers show, she didn’t want to be hated on her first day of being queen, she wanted to be looked up to in the same way her parents were, respected, equal but most importantly free. But deep down she knew she would never be free from the curse that had ruined her life.
