#14, FAMILIAR STRANGER

"Okay so it's done!" Mark beamed "Isaac is taking me home since Ryan is too rude to let me in his car AND he has to go somewhere.Liam and Alicia are going to visit and get some stuff from Alicia's friend and Alec's dropping Lydia home"

"Why do I have to go with Alec?" I sighed.

Poor me,always stuck with the devil.

"I could have dropped you guys DIRECTLY home if Alicia had not forgotten to take the papers in the morning" Liam snapped at Alicia who just grinned mouthing a 'sorry'

"Fine" I sighed as Alec put his arm around my shoulder and we walked over to his car with me removing his hand.Others being totally normal people hurried off and soon all the cars disappeared on the road.Meanwhile, Alec being Alec, wasted 2 minutes in looking for a good song and then started the car.

I rolled my eyes at him which only made him smirk.As I turned to look outside,a familiar face caught my attention.

"Stop!" I yelled causing Alec to suddenly stop the car.I quickly jumped out of the car, ignoring Alec's voice.In about seconds,I had my arms around her. My mom's sister and my godmother, Aunt Luisa.

Alec was probably standing behind me thinking how messed up I am but I just couldn't help crying.But suddenly something caught me off guard.It was different from the last time I had hugged her so I backed off quickly only to find her confused face as if she hadn't even  recognized me.

"Lydia?" She whispered in a harsh and cold voice that definitely did not belong to someone I knew

"Why did you not come....for...the funeral, I kept waiting for you" I managed, fighting back my tears.

"Whose funeral?" She rolled her eyes.

And thats when I took a few steps back until I hit Alec's chest who put his arms around me preventing me from falling.

"What...what do you mean by whose funeral?"

"It's a pretty simple question, isn't it sweetheart?" She flipped her, rolling her eyes.

You know that feeling when you feel like your heart has stopped pumping blood? I felt exactly that way.

"I...I can't believe it" I managed "You...You have changed"

"I shouldn't even be talking to you right now" she rolled her eyes and started walking away.

"Why? Scared that your boyfriend is going to see you with me?" I snapped.

She turned back to look at me with a cold expression and that's when it hit me, it wasn't the her anymore. She wasn't the one who had stood by me and supported me throught out my life. She wasn't the loving women I once knew. Everything about her had changed.

"You know what Lydia?" She walked up to me and looked right at me, her eyes burning with anger "You are messed up, just like your mom was"

I felt my body shudder with the amount of anger I was controlling. My eyes were burning with angry tears.

"I am messed up?" I screamed gathering all my strength "you are the one pretending like nothing happened your own sister was-"

"Sister? What sister? She lost that title when she kicked him out"

"Are you actually kidding me right now?! She was trying to save your life!"

"You know what Lydia? It was all your parents fault that they were-"

"Dont even go there!" I yelled

"Your mother ruined my life!" She yelled back.

"My mother who was also your sister was trying to stop you from ruining your life!"

I felt Alec's hand bring me closer to his chest, slightly hugging me from behind. Honestly, his hands were the only thing stopping me from falling down and crying miserably. Somehow, his hands were making me feel stronger and safer. Somehow, Alec Hales was making me stronger.

"Stop me?" She laughed and it took me all my strength to not punch her "You are just like your mom, a bitc-"

"Hey, don't you-" This time it was Alec

"You were in love with a drug addict and a murderer who had slept with almost the entire town and he used to hit you" I interrupted him.

Dustin was her boyfriend. She was madly in love with him but that monster did not know the meaning of love. Mom saw him sleeping with someone right after he had proposed Aunt for marraige. Mom got extremely angry and slapped him to which he responded by trying to strangle my mom. Thankfully, dad came to rescue and he was arrested. On investigation, Dad found out that he was a drug addict and had committed 2 murders. Mom tried explaining all of this to Aunt who refused to belive everyone and blamed it all on my mom. Days later Dustin escaped from the prison and ran away with my aunt.

"Where is he anyways? Still hiding?" I screamed looking around at the small crowd that had gathered

She did not reply but rather started walking ignoring the stares the crowd was giving her.

"Well you know what?" I screamed causing her to stop and turn "Fuck you and Fuck him!"

SOO YUPP!!
I AM FINALLY BACK ....I KNOW ITS BEEN MONTHS AND I AM REALLY SORRY ABOUT IT. ITS JUST THAT HIGH SCHOOL IS ABSOLUTE HELL AND ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE PHYSICS. A LOT OF THINGS HAPPENED AND THEREFORE I COULDN'T UPDATE AND I AM GENUINELY SORRY FOR THAT.
