Chapter Five.

IT WASN'T THAT busy at the cafe today. Jasmine wasn't here either so I didn't have anybody to talk to. "Hello, I'm Priya, and I'll be your waitress today. May I start you guys off with a drink?" I asked, opening up my notepad.

"Have anyone ever told you that you look like, Sanaa Lathan?" The older lady asked, before turning back to face the little kid that was sitting beside her. "Camden, what do you want to eat?"

I smiled. "No, I've never heard that one before."

"Grandma, can I get some orange juice?" Camden asked. "And, also some bacon and pancakes. I love pancakes."

"Oh, wow, you girls could really pull off as twins," She smiled. "I'll take a glass of orange juice and the breakfast platter but minus the eggs and the silver five with a small thing of orange juice."

"She is really pretty, but I don't really see it," I smiled, causing her to chuckle a bit. "I'll be right back with your order ma'am, it was lovely meeting you and thank you for coming to Mystic Cafe."

Walking away, I made my way towards the kitchen to hand Will the order. "Gracias, Priya," Will smiled before taking the note.

"Priya, hey baby," Jasmine smiled before throwing on her apron.

"Hey," I smiled. "I didn't think you were coming in today, I would have been miserable without you here today."

"You know I couldn't leave you hanging," Jasmine joked. "And, plus my bills ain't gone pay themselves, I need all the hours I could get."

"I know that's right," I joked.

"So..."Jasmine smiled, leaning up against the table. "Did that fine brother from yesterday come in here today?"

I sighed. "Don't even mention that boy name, we don't need him popping up."

Jasmine laughed. "Girl, stop acting like you wasn't feeling him. He was cute, he even asked for your number and everything."

"I wasn-" Before I could finish what I was about to say. I was interrupted by the bells ringing on the door, indicating that a new customer just came in. I looked up to see the guy from yesterday walking in. "Do you want to take that one?" Jasmine asked, trying to be funny.

"I have another table to attend to," I said, before grabbing the food from off the counter near the kitchen and picking up a tray before walking towards the table that I was previously at. "Here you go ma'am, I hope you enjoy your food. I'll be right back to check up on you guys if you need anything. Thank you for choosing Mystic Cafe."
