Chapter Four.

RESTING ON THE counter, many people were sitting at their tables eating their food. I've only been here for an hour and I'm already exhausted going from one table to the next and also dealing with these rude ass customers is something that I wasn't looking forward too.

"Let's get back to work," Jasmine patted my back. "There's only a few more hours left of your shift. You're doing great."

"Well, I don't feel so great," I let out a deep breath before lifting back up. I grabbed the food that was placed on the counter near the kitchen and brought it to the table that rested next to the window.

"About time," The lady rolled her eyes. "As much as we spend here, you guys could work a little faster."

I let out a deep breath, before placing the food in front of her. "Sorry for the long wait, please enjoy. If you need anything, ma'am, I'll be right over there taking someone else's order. Thank you for coming to Mystic Cafe, have a nice day."

"Yeah, whatever." The lady rolled her eyes, as I walked away.

"Bitch..." I mumbled to myself as I walked back over towards the kitchen area. "I don't know how you do it, Jasmine." I sighed as she chuckled to herself. "It'll get better I promise." Jasmine patted my back. "Just don't let that stuff get to you, people are just mean sometimes."

"I was so close to cursing that lady out, you just don't know," I shook my head, Jasmine was interrupted by a phone call. "I have to take this, Priya, could you cover that back booth for me?"

I nodded my head. "You're a lifesaver," Jasmine said before walking into the back room. I walked over towards the table that had two guys and two girls sitting at it.

"Hi, my name is, Priya, and I'll be your waitress today," I smiled. "What can I get for you guys today?" I grabbed the pen from out of my apron and opened up to a clean page in my notepad.

"I'm still waiting on my breakfast burrito," The girl said staring at me. "Could you maybe go and see if it's ready for me."

"After I'm done taking everyone's order," I answered, only to have her roll her eyes at me. "Now like I said, what can I get for you guys?"

"There's one bitch that's not getting a tip today," The girl said, causing me to let out a deep breath. People like her for example is the reason why I be ready to curse people out because they just don't know when to shut the fuck up. I'm a really nice person, but don't mess with me when I'm not in a good mood which is very rare. "I'll have an ice tea also, make sure you don't forget that."

"Yasmine, we need to talk." I looked over staring at the side of his face as he faced the girl that was aggravating the hell out of me. From just looking at the side of his face he was pretty cute. He had short blonde hair, with tattoos that covered both of his arms. He looked really familiar though but I couldn't really tell just by looking at the side of his face.
