have you wanted to tell your parents that you self harm?

have you been really close to telling them?

have you backed away?

I did all the time. I wanted to tell my mum but I couldn't get the words out and I was really scared.

I know you probably don't want to tell your parents but it's better if you do.

if they know they can help you.

they can find help for you.

Yes they'll probably be mad, angry and upset but who wouldn't?

would you want your children hurting themselves?

no you wouldn't.

The way my parents found out was because when I was close to Mark i told him that I done it.

he then went on to tell a friend who moved away and her mum seen the messages and then her mum phoned mine.

it was horrible.

we both cried for a while.

There are different ways to tell your parents. For example:

-'accidently' let them see

-have a friend tell them

-have a friend tell a teacher who will then phone home.

it will never be easy telling them.

But it is better when they know.

my life has changed since my parents found out.

they are more caring and loving.

all parents will act different finding out that their child has been hurting themselves.

honestly its better when they know.

it might not be for the first couple of days, weeks or maybe months but it will help.

They'll help.

open up to your mum or dad. tell them how you're feeling. tell them what's happening in school.

yes I know it can be really awkward. I've been there.

i tell my mum somethings that's happened in school and how I feel sometimes.

They will try and make you feel better.

Remember you are never alone. You have plenty of people who are willing to help, me included.

I want to help as many people as I can. I want people to learn from my mistakes.

I'm not writing this fpr sympathy,  I'm doing it to let people know they are never alone,  yes life can get hard but there will always be someone or something that can cheer you up. I want to show you that life isn't perfect, mime is far from it.

yes I'm struggling to cope but i'm really trying to stay strong.

I'm not a professional with helping people I'm only 15 but I want to try my very best to help people stop and realise they shouldn't start.

you are NEVER alone. I care about every single one of you. I would do anything for you.

if you have any questions I'll be happy to try and answer them.

I'll try and give you advice?  I'll try and help you understand what it's like.

Stay Strong Beautiful People ♡ ♥ I love you all :) xx
