**A/N: Hey guys! Sorry this chapter's a bit late, I had some family stuff going on and some major writer's block, but thankfully, that's all settled down and I got some tips from my friend on how this chapter should go. So this chapter is dedicated to Insaneobesser! Thanks for your help**
John stared at Alexander, waiting for him to say something. He crossed his arms as Alexander hesitated with his words. He soon became impatient, and rolled his eyes. "If you're going to say something, say it." He growled. "Why do you feel like you "need to fix me"? Huh? To "help me"?"
Fighting back tears, Alexander clenched his fist. "John, there is something going on--something wrong, and I want to fix it. To get the old John back." His voice cracked slightly.
John seemed to snap at this and grabbed Alexander by his shirt collar, slamming his back into the wall behind him. Alexander winced at the sudden impact.
"Why? Why would you want to help me?" John snapped. "I don't have friends. After all, who would be friends with a monster like me?"
Alexander noticed John's voice went lower when he said "monster" and was shocked by the anger coming from him. He couldn't imagine someone like John, who was happy and cheerful and positive all the time, could be so angry and violent.
Alexander looked into John's eyes, wishing to see that small glimmer of hope that flashed in his eyes once before. No such luck. John's eyes were turning a slight red color over the brown of his irises.
Before he could speak, John interrupted. "And what do you mean, "to get the old John back"? This is me. There is nothing to be fixed, nothing to be changed." John's grip on Alexander's collar tightened. "Now tell me. Why do you want to "help" me so bad?" He slammed Alexander against the wall again, and stepped closer. "WHY?!"
Alexander couldn't hold it back any longer.
"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!!"
