--The Next Day--

John opened his eyes, looking around at the dimly-lit room. He felt a steady breath against his chest and looked down. Alexander was curled up against John, sleeping silently, his face resting on John's shoulder. John smiled, leaned his head over and kissed Alexander's head.

Alexander moaned slightly, and smiled in his sleep. John wondered how he was going to get up to use the restroom.

Five minutes later, John yawned and woke up Alexander. "John?" He mumbled.

"Sorry, Alex, I didn't mean to wake you." John replied.

"Wait! What time is it?!" Alexander asked frantically, sitting up.

John squinted to read the clock. "A bit after 7."

"AM?!"

"Uhh....Yeah. Why?"

"I slept in!" Alexander rushed to his feet, nearly falling down. "Put on some pants! There's no time to waste!"

John sat up, confused. "Alex, I am wearing pants." Alexander was spinning around in circles at this point. "Why are you in such a rush, anyway? It's Saturday."

"Saturday! Yes! Important! ...Why is it important?" Alexander repeated the word 'Saturday' multiple times quietly, pacing back and forth across John's living room.

John stood up and stopped Alexander in his tracks and put his hands on his shoulders, looking directly into his deep brown eyes. "Alexander. Relax. Please. Take a deep breath."

Alexander did, and looked back up at John. "I'm okay."

"Are you sure? You aren't normally." John chuckled.

Alexander tilted his head to the side, looking like a dog with his hair flopping over to the other side of his head.

"Ha ha, don't worry about it, babe." John slid his hands down Alexander's arms and held his hands. "Come with me really quick." He said suddenly.

John pulled Alexander upstairs before he could even respond, and John spun him around into his bedroom. **A/N: Get y'all's minds out of the gutters! haha**

John flopped backward onto his bed and laughed when Alexander stumbled over to him, flopping down next to him.

"So why are we in here?" Alexander chuckled.

"Hm...I don't know yet." John responded sarcastically. "Just because."

Alexander rambled for nearly 5 minutes straight about how 'just because' is not a valid answer and how he doesn't understand sarcasm and why people use it when they can just go straight to the point. John interrupted him by bursting into laughter.

"Wh-what's so funny?" Alexander asked, confused once again.

John wiped the tears of laughter out of his eyes and took a breath. "Nothing, it's just...you." He laughed again. "You're adorable."

Alexander's face turned bright red and hid his face with a pillow.

John sat up and poked the pillow. "Hey, did you know I can play guitar?"

Alexander shook his head, moving the pillow with it. John stood up and picked up his guitar from his closet, bringing it back to the bed. Alexander sat up, cuddling the pillow as John quickly tuned his guitar.

Once he finished, John cleared his throat and turned on the bed to face Alexander. He began playing a few notes and started to sing "Forever and Always" by Parachute.

Alexander's mind hung onto every word, swooned by John's surprisingly beautiful voice.

"....As he says, 'I love you forever, forever and always. Please just remember, even if I'm not there, I'll always love you, forever and always."

John stopped playing and looked up at Alexander, who leaned over to him and began to kiss him. The two stayed in this moment for what felt like forever, until there was a sudden shout..

"JOHNATHAN HENRY LAURENS!!!"
