**A/N: Wow! 30 chapters already! It's crazy to me how far we've come since I started this story last May. This is the longest story I've ever written, and I plan on continuing to write it until I feel like it's at a good place to end it. Could be 5, 10, or even 15 more chapters! We won't know unless we get there! From all of the votes and comments, it sounds like you all are enjoying this story and my other one as well, which means a lot to me :). If I hadn't put this story on here, I probably wouldn't have made it go on this long and I probably wouldn't have the motivation to keep it going as strong as it is. Anyway, thank you guys for all your support! Enjoy!**

Madison explained the situation to Angelica as she cleaned up the wound on John's face. "We really don't know why he collapsed."

"Do you have any health problems, John?" She asked, placing a small bandage on the cut.

"No, not that I know of." He responded quickly.

As Angelica continued to ask John health-related questions, Alexander glared at Thomas silently. Halfway through a conversation, Angelica spoke up louder. "This is the longest either one of you has been quiet. Alone or together. What happened this time?"

Both began to speak at the same time, but Angelica cut them off, looking at them seriously. "One at a time, please! Thomas, you first."

Alexander scoffed, but remained as silent as he could while Thomas began speaking. "Hamilton keeps blaming me for things because of his stupid grudge against me ever since we met and I don't even know why he has that grudge."

"Okay. Alexander?"

"Jefferson is always behind the schemes against me. That thing with the bear, those raccoons in my office, John getting possessed, and now this! I only have a grudge against him because he has a grudge against me!"

Angelica stopped and turned towards Alexander. "Okay," She sighed. "I have many questions right now, but the most important one is related to this current situation. Why do you think Jeff-- er-- Thomas, had anything to do with John collapsing?"

"Because he--"

"No. Actually think. What did he do to cause this?"

Alexander stepped forward and opened his mouth to start speaking, but stopped. He couldn't actually think of a reason.

He closed his mouth and looked down at the floor. "Wow," Thomas piped in. "You gotta teach me how to do that." Thomas winked at Angelica, who rolled her eyes and threw away her gloves.

She looked back over at John, who was watching the situation intently. "So, no concussion. You're gonna have quite a bruise, but you'll be fine. James Madison!" She looked over at the other bed at the quiet Madison, who was surprised to hear someone talking to him now. "How are you holding up?"

"I'm alright, considering." He spoke softly.

"I haven't heard a single cough from you since I came in. How's your throat?"

"Dry, but fine otherwise." He took a drink of the water he had sitting on the bedside table.

"I'll let the doctor know. Hope you get better soon, I know how much that would mean to both you and Thomas." Angelica smiled down at him.

Her attitude changed when she turned back to look at Alexander, who was still puzzlingly looking at the floor. "And you, Alexander."

He looked up, startled at her sudden tone of voice. "What?"

"I want to talk to you when I get off work. Come over at 5 for dinner." She said, walking towards the door.

"Yes, ma'am."
