Alphonse's P.O.V

"...It's actually my hometown.."

After I'd asked that question, I noticed how (Y/N)'s mood had completely changed. She seemed kind've sad to be going back to where she grew up;
I wanted to ask why, but I decided not to since it seemed personal and I didn't want to invade her privacy.

But I knew she was hurting. She's my best friend....a-and I care about her. Something painful happened in (T/N)...I should've just asked. But for the rest of the ride, I watched her slowly fall off to sleep as the train ride went on.

Y/N's P.O.V

"What do you mean we can't go out tonight?"

"I-I know (B/N) I'm sorry; But something important came up with my grandmother and I need to go-"

"Yeah you need to go visit her I know; You know it's kinda strange..." (B/N) trailed circling me.

"W-What's strange?" I asked in a worried tone.

(B/N) narrowed  his eyes as he looked at me, his gaze worrying me even more.

"It just seems like you've not been around that much whenever I've gone by to pick you up lately.." (B/N) said.

I was so confused by what he was saying. Did he think I was lying to him?

"Y-You're right I haven't been home that much during the day. But my grandmother is sick right now I-!"

I squealed in surprise and pain as (B/N) suddenly moved foreword and grabbed my arm harshly, pulling my face towards him. Now I couldn't get away from his accusing
(e/c) eyes.

"See here's the thing (Y/N)," (B/N) started gripping my arm even tighter causing more pain.
"I don't think that old woman is as sick as you're saying.."

My eyes widened the longer I looked at him. He'd never acted this way before, what did I do wrong?
I squirmed in his grip trying to free myself but he held me even tighter preventing me from escaping.

"(B-B/N) l-let me go! Y-You're hurting m-"

"WHY ARE YOU LYING TO ME (Y/N)?! IS THERE SOMEONE ELSE?!"

I stopped struggling and looked at him in a mixture of confusion and fear.
"W-What no! I-I'm not lying I promise I-I would never-ah!"
