I was getting ready to walk back in the living room when I heard them arguing.
" your still getting high. I left 7 years ago cause of that shit and your still doing it Jocelyn."
" shut the fuck up damien you left me here taking care of your fucking kid by my fucking self. You ain't shit"
" she's your fucking kid too. I sent money for her you're her mother you think it's fair for her to be seeing you like this?"
" get the fuck out now" she shouted
I heard something being thrown and then the door slamming. I went back out there to make sure everything was ok.
"This is all your fault bitch. I hate you. You ruined me you ruined my life I can't wait for you to die" she said while throwing things at me.
I tried to ignore her but she hit me that's when I lost it and hit her back. Once she fell to the ground I grabbed my keys and phone before walking out the house.
I got in my car and a tear fell because how could she say she hates me when I did nothing to her. I didn't become an addict making her have to grow up fast and fend for herself. Someone interrupted my thoughts by knocking on the window. I looked up and seen that it was zhair,Lauren and sincere. I stepped out the car as soon as zhair seen my face he pulled me aside
" your mom did that ?" He asked
" yea my dad came back. She said she hated me and hit me I hit her back even though I wish I wouldn't have. " I said shaking my head
" just come stay with me jade "
" I can't do that zha"
" so you'll rather deal with that then coming with me jade"
" I don't know zha could we not do this right now please" I said
He sighed and nodded before we walked back over
"Everything's ok?" Lauren asked
" yea" I said.
" what happened to your face" Lauren asked
" it's a long story" I said sighing and not really wanting to discuss the issue
Zhair must have sensed what I was thinking about because he changed the subject quickly.
