"Lanae, pull that damn shirt down." Omari smacked his lips as I grabbed my ice cream cone.

"Babe, it's made like this." I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Baby ass shirt," he mumbled under his breath.

I side eyed him before flicking him off.

Our day is just getting started since we woke up at 4:05 pm. Mainly, my fault since Omari worn my ass out last night and I was knocked out for a long time.

Omari's exact words being Omari dick withdrawals. His ass been hyped about putting me in a mini coma. He been cheesing and saying smart ass remarks to me all day. Obviously, his ego has grown ten times bigger overnight.

When I finally woke up this afternoon, Omari told me that we were going to a carnival that opened up yesterday. I quickly got dressed and tried to get my hair together, but I didn't have enough time, so I just wore Omari's black and white Adidas hat.

We just got to the carnival, like five minutes ago. I'm beyond ready to ride rides and play games with some bomb ass carnival food. We were about to have a good time, for sure.

"You tryna' get on some rides, Mar?" I eyed him as I licked my ice cream cone.

"Yeah, when it start gettin' dark. I'm just tryna' grub right now," he smirked.

"What you want?"

We were passing a lot of food trucks right now, but he's still stuck on what he wants to get.

"Shit, I want everything. I just don't know what to get first." He chuckled.

I looked around before my eyes settled on a food truck that was selling chicken on the stick and other meals.
