CHAPTER 23

John's POV

I smiled and looked at myself in front of the mirror wearing my toga. I can't believe that it's been four years and now, I'm going to finish college and graduate together with my loved ones.

I'm heading towards the Father Saturnino Urios Gym and as I went out of my car, I heard someone calling, "Bruh! Andito kami!" Sigaw ni King mula sa malayo at kumakaway sa amin.

Napangiti ako dahil sigurado akong mamimiss ko ang bestfriend ko. We've been friends since like we're Kindergarten and we became inseparable. I can't imagine my existence without my dearest best friend.

As I said, it's been four years. Who knows na apat na taon na pala ang lumipas simula nung nagka-ayos kami ni Lia that time we almost broke up because of her Mother.

Kung magtatanong kayo kung kumusta kaming dalawa ni Lia? We're actually fine and going stronger and stronger than ever. Mahal na mahal ko siya that I cannot imagine myself growing without her by my side. In fact, she is my family together with our son, Shan.

Right after graduating Senior Year, we applied for college at Father Saturnino Urios University.

Remember when I said na dapat sa ibang bansa ako mag-aral? Let's say that there are things not really meant to be for you.

Mostly sa barkada namin ay nasa iisang school lang but different course.

I took Education - Major in Sports, after all susunod naman ako sa yapak ng Papa ko. Lia took BS - Accountancy. King will also finished college as an Engineering Student, which is unusual because you know him. Si Queen naman ay Accountancy din ang kinuha.

The others went to Davao para doon mag-college pero pagkatapos ng graduation nila ay babalik daw sila sa Butuan. As what I have heard, they wouldn't miss our graduation day so all of them will go home.

Muntik na akong matumba ng biglang may mga brasong pumulupot sa leeg ko. "BABY! I missed you!"

Napatawa naman ako at niyakap siya pabalik, "Ang sweet mo naman, baby. Parang hindi tayo nagkita kanina ah."

"Nauna ka kasing umalis, hindi mo ako man lang ako hinintay," Hinalik-halikan pa niya ako sa pisngi ko.

"Nasaan na ba si Shan? Sinama mo ba?"

"Syempre naman! Anak natin tapos mawawala sa graduation nating dalawa? Hindi ako papayag, 'no!"

Just as I thought, I heard a tiny and cute voice calling us, "Mommy! Daddy!" Naanigan ko sa may entrance ang tumatakbong bata patungo samin at kasama niya sina Tito Emman at Tita Judy.

About Tita Judy, we're all good. Noong nag-stay sa amin si Lia ay mga isang linggo lang non ay nagka-bati na sila ng Mommy niya at pumayag na rin si Tita sa relasyon namin. With a condition, of course and that's we must focus on our studies and wala munang second grandchild.
