'tonights date night'

"I just wanna make sure you know that Archie and Betty kissed in front of my house right before Christmas and that it seemed pretty serious. Like, with tongues serious. That's all. Enjoy your couples-only weekend. Kisses to all, bye now." 

I didn't mean to overhear Cheryl deliver the nasty blow. But how could she know I was in the stall taking a leek? She didn't even check first before she started tattling to whoever it was on the phone.

My body stood completely still as the stall next to me opened up.

I would recognize those boots anywhere. Toni.

"Did you just tell Jughead that Archie and Betty kissed?" Toni's voice spoke up and the water faucet tuned on. 

"Yea so what if I did." That was Cheryl, always the power move.

"Did you at least have a reason?" Toni asked again 

"Ok that's right... You're new here. Hi I'm Cherly Blossom AKA Cheryl bombshell, which means I need no reasons. I simply am. Feel free to tremble." Now I kind of get the whole head bitch in charge thing. Not that many people can pull out an introduction like that. Besides Ms.Bombshell herself.

"I have a better Idea. Why don't you tell me what's bothering you? Because clearly your in a lot of pain." Toni's feet got closer to Cheryl's and my mind did a complete 180.

"Get your Sapphic hands off my body!" Cheryl shouts and I can hear her hundred dollar hells stomping away and out of the girl's bathroom.

Now is the time to get out of this stall. I push the toilet handle with my foot down and open the stall door. And there Toni is, a look of awe on her face.

I walk to the sink and turn the faucet on, running my hands into the water. "Just like to say that I'd like to play matchmaker whenever you need me." 

"I think I've got this. Thanks Diana."

The weekend was a little boring now that Jughead was away. I wanted to ask him about that whole kissing thing but seems like I wasn't gonna get an answer out of him. But hopefully the tension between Toni and Cheryl would turn out to be romantic.

Currently I was busy watching Toni serve up drinks to the older serpents. I had to get to the dinner soon and FP wasn't at the wrym, meaning I had no ride.

After practically begging on my knees, Sweet Pea finally said yes to driving me to the dinner. From there I didn't need a ride because FP works tonight to and we could just go home together. 

I follow him out of bar into the parking lot where his bike is.

He hands me a helmet and I put it over my head quickly. I wasn't going to be late but I didn't want to have to run right into work.
