chapter 38 || 038
"A Princess never cowers"
Diana waited in the attic for the news of her trial. The judge hadn't explicitly said that it'd be q quick decision but he didn't say it would be this long. It had been twenty four hours since her court appearance and she was filled with nerves.
Mrs.Andrews told her that it would take the judge some time but this was dragging her up the walls.

The students of Riverdale High walked past one another in the halls. Most of them were still buzzing from yesterdays revelation about Bellamy. Some of them were cheering her on while others were dead silent.
There was one person who was dead set on Bellamy not getting what she wanted. Dilton. For some odd reason he wanted to see her fail. He wanted to see what would happen to her next because of it.
But there was the new born couple talking amongst themselves.
"Where do you think she is?" Ravyn asked Reggie as they both stood by the lockers waiting for their classes to start. Reggie knows exactly where Bellamy is but he's not too sure in telling Ravyn yet.
They were sisters supposedly but then again Bellamy came into town by herself. Who's to say that Ravyn isn't working with her father to kill Bellamy?
Reggie shrugged. "Just hope she's somewhere safe."

"Dude you've been really quite lately and I know it's because of Diana but is it anything else?" Fangs asked his best friend who had been either dead silent or daydreaming since yesterday. Everyone could see that with Diana gone that he had changed.
Sweet Pea looked at Fangs for a split second and then back to the other kids in the classroom. "The night of her initiation while she was dancing, I was outside and I found this picture of her family. Including her mother. And she had this look on her face like- confusion. Like she didn't know where the picture came from." He whispered to his friend across the desk.
Fangs looked around the room before pulling his chair closer to Sweet Pea's desk.
"You think this has anything to do with Ravyn suddenly showing up?" He asked him but was interrupted by three chairs being pulled up to join them. It was Jughead, Toni and Cheryl. All of them shared the same look on their faces.
"It definitely has something to do with Ravyn. I don't trust that girl for a second." Toni added like she had been part of the conversation from the start. But the two boys ignored that part and silently agreed with her.
"She never knew her mother, and the only picture she had was of her and her dad." Jughead thought out loud. "What did the-"
Sweet Pea hit him on the arm and nodded to the door. Everyone in the group not so subtly turned around to check out who it was.
Ravyn.
"We only said her name twice, how is the devil incarnate here?"
-
"You know I don't think I've ever told anyone what I'm about to tell you." Diana slurred her words as she held onto Sweet Pea's shoulder for support.
