"Did I miss something?" I asked in my hoarse voice which woke up the two in the room. Toni and Sweet Pea were sitting in chairs on my right side. They woke up with smiles, but we were missing some people. "What happened to Fangs?"

If I got shot then Fangs definitely got shot. Unless I took the whole bullet. But I don't think it works like that.

The curtain on my left side whipped open and on the other side was Fangs himself. He was on the same bed as me with a high ass smile. "Right here bullet buddy."

I chuckled but it hurt slightly.

"Yeah no laughing, doctors orders." Toni explained and I nodded my head lightly. It was probably her orders too. "You took a bullet for Fangs."

"I mean she was just in front of me-" Fangs tried to interrupt but I beat him to the punch.

"Shut up, bullet buddy. We're both in the hospital so just shut it." I gritted through my teeth and ended my threat with a big smile on my face. His eyes widened a bit and I couldn't help to laugh a little bit at that.

Sweet Pea cleared his throat making me look at him. "No laughing."

"Okay, sweet cakes."
