Sheriff Keller sped down the dark roads in an attempt to get Diana to the hospital as quickly as he could. FP was in the back trying to keep her up and not dozing off when he his phone started ringing in his pocket.

He quickly fished it out of his pocket and hit the accept button.

"Dad have you seen Diana? We think someth-" Jughead started asking but his father was quick to give him the news.

"She got shot. She's with me we're on our way to the hospital."

-

Jughead's body went still with fear. Fangs and Diana got shot. They both got shot.

He didn't even notice that his father hung up the call. Instead he looked at Toni and Sweet Pea and all the other serpents. All the people who had become a makeshift family to Diana. It was all on the line now.

Sweet Pea looked at the Jones boy in confusion. "What's with the face?" He asked him.

"My dad's on my way with Diana." He explained- missing the most important detail. Sweet Pea nodded along with Toni as they sat back in their chairs just a tiny bit. It was a relief to them to hear that Diana was okay.

Jughead went over it in his head at least a hundred times.

"She got shot." He said bluntly and all eyes were on him.

Toni and Sweet Pea shot out of their chairs in horror. All the other serpents gathered around Jughead who was now starting to feel the tension and suspense filling the air.

"What? How'd she get shot? Where was she?" Sweet Pea threw the questions at the Jones boy who shook his head at every question. "Jughead! What's going on?"

Jughead got up from his chair in anger. "I don't know! She just- my dad is bringing her here! She's shot and that's all I know!"

-

The serpents waited for a few minutes until the front doors opened and in came Diana in FP's arms. She looked a mess. Her lips were blue and her shirt was lifted up showing the bullet wound. All at once there were so many people helping her and she wasn't even responding.

The nurses loaded her up on a stretcher.

FP stood by her side until the doctors started wheeling her somewhere he could follow. Instead he stood there along with the other serpents anxiously waiting.

They all watched as she disappeared behind the hospital doors, a small trail of blood left behind at the entrance.
