chapter 34 || 034

'they start to pile up'

The weird blend of Northsiders and Southsiders sat in the student lounge together talking aimlessly to each other. The whole Archie and Bellamy situation had brought them together a bit for the time being.

Even though the situations were completely different.

While everything was seemingly normal, Ravyn walked right in. Everyone in the room looked at her instantly.

"I thought you said you locked the door!" Veronica snapped a bit at Jughead but she didn't realize the anomaly that had walked right in. The four serpents did though. Veronica got up from her seat on the couch and greeted Rayvn. "I'm sorry we're having a bit of a meeting here."

Ravyn looked around the room and it stood out to her that these kids were all different from one another. There were the snakes she talked to yesterday and then there were these preppy kids. What could a meeting between those two be about?

"Actually you can stay. She's involved in this too." Jughead explained vaguely to the rest of the group as he stared down Rayvn. Once again she was standing there looking all prim and proper. Standing next to Veronica she fit right in.

Everyone in the room grew even more interested in the girl, especially Reggie. Rayvn took note that he was looking at her the most and tried to not bark at him for it. Back home if you stared at her you'd be subject to removal.

"Wait so this is a meeting about Bellamy?" She asked and the room filled with yes's and agreements alike. "But-I mean-didn't she leave? What are you all going to do?"

The room went silent. That was why they were here, to figure it out.

"I'm sorry, could you introduce yourself I have no clue who you are." Cheryl commented and Rayvn raised an eyebrow at her tone. Toni nudged her girlfriend a bit.

She couldn't get anything out of them unless she told them the truth. Or maybe some spin of the truth. It was better than nothing.

"My name is Rayvn and I am Bellamy's half sister."

-

I couldn't even play with the dog. This really sucks.

I hate being under witness protection. I'm thankful, yes that's a no brainer. But can't I have a little fun while I'm here? I am a teenager after all.

-

"WHAT?!" The group of kids screamed at her and Rayvn literally took three steps back because of it. No one had screamed at her before- no one ever dared to. Not even her father.

"I am her half sister and I need to find her. She cannot go back to the island. She doesn't kno- she just cannot go back." Ravyn painted on the role quickly and she could see them all eating it up. All she had to do was sell it. "Not after our mother fought so hard to keep her away."

Cheryl didn't buy it one bit.

"Im sorry but I need you to explain the whole thing to me. From the start." The bombshell asked, trying to throw the girl off. Something about her and her story rubbed Cheryl the wrong way. She hadn't known Bellamy for long but why would she do all of this alone if she had a sister.

Ravyn sensed her distrust and went to sit down with the group. Make them feel like she needed their help and their support. "Our mother was set to wed the constable of the island, arranged of course, but she ran away instead. She came to Riverdale and fell in love with Bellamy's father and had her. But what the meant was another person who could take the throne from the constable."

"He's a tyrant with a sad case of fragile masculinity and he couldn't take the thought of mother living happily with someone else with nothing of his own. So he started the hunt for the three of them. And he won't stop until he kills them all and takes the throne. As you know her father is dead. Our mother is still out there somewhere but Bellamy- she has no clue what this type of life has set out for her. She won't be able to make it without me." She explained to all of them and almost everyone was eating it up. Except Cheryl and now Jughead.

He had picked up that she called Bellamy her half sister and they share the same mother. But who was her father?

"Who's your dad?" He asked her and he cut the silence in the room when he did. She snapped her neck to glare at him and everyone in the room noticed it. "It's the constable isn't it? The same man who's after your sister is your dad."

Ravyn shook her head slowly at him and let out a tsk. "My father is the constable but he's not my dad. I am just looking out for Bellamy."

"Why?" Sweet Pea finally spoke up and asked the new girl.

And Ravyn finally spoke the truth for the first time she sat down. "Because she deserves it."

-

"Bellamy?" A voice sounded from behind me and I slowly turned around. I knew that voice. That was Archie- but how is he here right now? He was supposed to be in jail or something.

I had crumbs on my face and on my shirt I just felt it. I looked like a thief who just got caught. "Hey Archie! I was just getting something to eat, uh- you know? So how's everything going?" I asked him and he didn't even crack a smile he just stood there with a confused look on his face.

This was confusing so he was right.

"What are you doing here? How'd you get in?" He questioned me but I kept my mouth shut. I guess his parents didn't tell him about my current situation. Makes sense since it had to be kept under wraps.

I folded up the chip bag in my hands and pointed upwards. "I'm gonna go back into the attic. But I'm not here Andrews. Not until you're dad comes back home, or your mom."

I began to walk away from him and to the staircase of the house when I caught a look at the dog. I couldn't help myself as I began to pet it. "How's the good boy doing? Huh? How are you doing bud?" I asked him like he could actually reply back.

Before I could even process my mistake the front door opened and in came Jughead.

"Diana?!"
