'hidden in the dark'

Ravyn had everything planned out. Get to Bellamy and then get to her mother. After that it'd be smooth sailing for everyone involved. If no one would step in the way of course.

Over the last two days Jughead was stuck. He couldn't tell anyone that Diana was still in Riverdale all shake up in the Andrew's house. He couldn't explain why. He couldn't do anything with what she told him.

All he could do was watch his friends go through the loss of a friend who was just a couple of miles away.

"I could smell her a bit. Is that weird?" Fangs asked the group and they all gave him weird looks. Except for Jughead. He was trying to keep his face from telling all the secrets he wanted to tell. Instead he focused on the lunch food on his tray.

Betty saw this and was waiting for another clue to put it together.

"Maybe it's your way of coping." Toni offered and Fogarty nodded to himself in silence. Sweet Pea was silent this entire time, Diana's disappearance was really taking a toll on him. 

When Reggie and his bulldogs walked into the cafeteria Jughead sneered at him. He had known the entire time that Diana was safely tucked away in Riverdale and said nothing. The fact that he was the one to come up with the brilliant plan really upset Jughead.

But there was another thing playing out in front of everyone.

Ravyn and Reggie. Walking side by side and smiling.

"There is a judge that wants to take on the case. And everything will be streamed so you won't have to leave the house or anything." Mrs.Andrews explained to me and I was so thankful. Thankful that atleast I had a plan to get away from these people.

It was never in me to go onto the island and rule over a whole population of people. I'm not made for that. I was only gonna do it because I didn't want to die. 

"Without this I would have died you know?" I asked her mindlessly like she knew what thoughts were swimming around in my head. It probably sounded really random to her.  "I'm his lover's bastard that could take away his power. No matter what his end goal was to kill me, because I was everything he couldn't have."

Mrs.Andrews sat down on the couch next to me and looked at me with empathy. At least it wasn't sympathy. "Bellamy you are one of the strongest women I know and I know that this judge will grant you your freedom."

Before I could thank her for her kind words FP stepped into the shed.

"Diana did you tell us everything?" He asked without even saying hello or congratulating Mrs.Andrews on getting the court date. I guess he's got the panic in him and can't think about that right now.

I nodded my head vigorously. "Yeah. I left nothing out. Absolutely nothing."

He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"FP what is it?" Mrs.Andrews asked him just as I was about to. He looked at the both of us now and looked conflicted. What was really going on?

"Theres a girl going around saying she's your half sister. Ravyn."

Fangs couldn't help but eye the new girl, Ravyn, with distrust. The way that she walked and talked just screamed entitled brat and not the northside kind. She was way out of their league. And why hadn't Diana said anything about her al this time?

Sweet Pea, Toni, Jughead and Cheryl were talking about something else as the gang hangedIn the students lounge. Still Fangs couldn't help but to wonder about Diana. If she made it safe to wherever the hell she went. If she misses them.

If she misses Sweet Pea.

It's weird but he can still smell her somehow.

Jughead walked past Fangs to the vending machine and the smell came up again. "Dude are you like using the same shampoo that she did? I can legit smell her on you." Fangs commented and let out a little chuckle.

"Maybe I did- all her bathroom stuff is still at the trailer. Sorry." Jughead apologized and then went back to putting in his code for the machine. 

Without warning everyone's phones started going off and just like nothing they all took their phones out to find out what it was. It was a video and the thumbnail had Diana's face in it.

"If anyone ever finds this-" I croak but I can't even get the stupid words out. How was I gonna make it on my own? How was I supposed to do this? I'm only a kid! 

I couldn't help the large sniffle that came from me that filled the room. The library had been closed for two hours now and no one had found me. I stayed in the vents of the ladies bathroom until closing and made myself comfortable on the beanbags.

That was my bed for the moment.

I look at my reflection through the video display and shut my eyes. I have to let someone know about this. I can't do this alone. I wouldn't last a second by myself. How was I supposed to support myself? 

"They killed my father. A group of men stormed into our apartment and sliced his neck open. I saw it all. My father's last words were to run and never look back." I continued as I brought up the picture of me and him up to the view of the camera. "The men said that I was blocking their way to the throne. That I'm a fucking princess and- I'm a bastard princess who isn't fit for the throne." 

I put the picture down and just stare at it in my hand. What I would give to just go back in time and let them kill me with him. I have no one else. He was my only person in this world and he died because of me.

"I called the cops to report the murder of my father and then seven hours later they beheaded that police officer. I don't think these men will stop until I am dead so I'm making this video as proof. Proof that they killed my father and that they drove me to this."  

My hand fished the switch blade out of my pocket and gripped onto it tight. There was no other way. They'd kill me in the end. At least this way I was in control.

I looked up at the computer that was still recording.

"You shouldn't see this."
