"Alright well I'm done for the night. What are the plans?" I asked the group of serpents and they all looked at me like I was crazy. It was a friday night in Riverdale and they didn't have any plans? How was this happening?

I nodded along slowly waiting for any one of them to speak up. "I've got plans with Betty." Jughead pipped in and I smiled at that. Those two couldn't keep their hands off each other the last time I saw them together.

"And do you have plans?" I turned to Toni with a smirk on my face. She should know exactly who I'm talking about, there is only one Cheryl Blossom. She tried to hide back the smile on her face as she nodded.

"Looks like it's just me and the idiots then." I thought out loud as I looked to the only other two people I'd be hanging out with tonight. They obviously looked at me with slacked jaws.

"Okay wait- we're the idiots? You're the one that went out on a date with Reggie." Fangs brought up and I sighed.

"What's with everyone knowing about that? This town isn't that small that everyone should be in my business." I growled at him and he shot his hands up in defense.

Fangs slid out of the booth and stood toe to toe with me. "Besides I actually have plans of my own. So it looks like you're hanging with one idiot tonight." He put lightly and left the diner with quick feet.

Soon after Toni and Jughead left too.

Which means it's just me and Sweet Pea.

"So do you like wanna go to the quarry or something?"

-

I threw the last rock in my hands into the water and watched it sink little by little. It wasn't awkward or weird being here with him. For once I didn't want punch him in the face for being so smug.

Looking over my shoulder I watched him stand near his bike and play with his phone. Was he ever going to talk to me though? I mean we were supposed to be hanging out. Not just passively being in the same place as one another.

"So do you wanna like talk or something?" I asked him in the same way he asked me to come to this place back at the diner.

He looked up from his phone and just eyed me for a moment. "Okay Diana. Let's talk."

I slowly walked over to his bike and sat on it. This was also the first time we shared a ride together. And it was awkward or weird.

"Let's talk about how I totally beat your ass in pool." I joked and he started laughing. It was funny to me but it shouldn't be to him. I ruined his perfect pool standing. Why is he laughing?

Sweet Pea shook his head with a smile. "Once. I bet you can't beat me two out of three."

Right at that I hopped off his bike and opened up his seat compartment and took out the extra helmet. "Pop it on sweet cakes, we're gonna settle this."

-

The eight ball sunk in the pocket and I gently put down my stick.

"Okay Okay Diana don-" Sweet Pea started up but I was already strutting over to him with a huge koolaid smile. He leaned back against the wall with a sigh.

As I got closer my hands reached for the collar of his jacket. Once I had a grip I pull him closer to me- inches away from my face. "I am now the best pool player in the wrym. Admit that you're a loser."

He shook his head and with that I released my grip on him. I jogged to the stage where the microphone was and grabbed it with force and looked at one of the younger serpents. "Let it be known that today I beat the all powerful Sweet Pea in pool. Kids! You can put anything you put your mind to! Believe and achieve!"

The crowd clapped and hooted as I jumped off stage and danced over to Sweet Pea who was rolling his eyes and had his crossing his arms over his his chest. "Did you really have to announce it?"

"Yes I did. Teach you to not underestimate me, NM." I winked and whispered over to him. His blood type wasn't the only thing I saw on his license after all.
