Damn that's the new financial district manager? He was too fine. I wonder how old he is. He looks young. Almost my age. Maybe a bit older. It's kind of mind boggling that another young manager is here. It makes me wonder what he did to get his position. I'm sure he worked very hard for it as I did.

"That's none of your business Mo," I chastised myself. I had projects that needed to get finished and quickly. "Let's get it." I quickly submerged myself into my work. Time went by quickly as I went through file after file and tweaking plans on the design models. Before I knew it my timer went off letting me know it was time for lunch. Zy says I would be so focused on work most of the time that I'd just work through lunch without realizing it so he set a timer on in my phone so I'd remember to take a break. I grabbed my phone and turned the timer off. I then dialed Zy's number to see what's the plan for lunch.

"Yo?" He answered.

"Hey loser, what's for lunch? I'm hungry," I whined with a pout.

"Well you're gonna have to feed yourself punk. I got a lot of deliveries to make and probably won't even be able to take a break myself."

"But weren't you always telling me about skipping lunch? You so full of it."

"Yeah but since I'm gonna be on the rode I can stop somewhere and grab something. You on the other hand be blatantly not eating."

"Whatever. Now I gotta eat by myself."

"Suck it up punk. I got you next time okay?"

"Alright," I sighed. "Go back to work. Love you."

"Love you too big head." I sighed after he hung up. I hate eating out alone. Whenever I go to take a lunch I always go with someone but now I have no one to go with me. I guess I'll order something and pick it up to bring back here. Right before I could dial the number to the Chinese restaurant there was a knock on my door.

"Come in," I said looking towards the door. It opened and to my surprise Jayden was on the other side. "Oh hey! Do you need something?"

He gave me his stunning smile. "Well I guess you can say so. It's getting a bit late and I was in my office thinking of how hungry I was. I'm new so I'm not too sure of where it would be good to eat." I raised my brow. Wondering where he was going with this. He chuckled. "I guess I'm a bit out of practice with this. I was asking if you'd like to join me for lunch."

"Oh!" I must look like a total idiot. I felt my face heat up in embarrassment. "I'm sorry. I'm kind of a spaz sometimes. Of course I'll join you for lunch," I chuckled nervously. I briefly wondered why he wanted to have lunch with me. I assumed it's because since we're going to be working on many projects together he wanted to get to know each other better. "I was just about to order some Chinese food and eat it in my office."

"We've been in the office all day. Let's go out and get some fresh air." His smile was so geniuine and beautiful I couldn't say no.

"Okay," I laughed. "It's right down the street too. Give me one moment."

"Alright." I grabbed my bag and made sure all of my things were saved on my desktop. I remember one time the system crashed on me when I was out to lunch and I lost a lot of data. I now make sure to periodically save my work so I won't have that headache again. "Ready?" Jayden continued smiling at me as I stepped out of the office.

"Ready!" I matched his friendly smile. Is it just me or do people who smile a lot ring LMN bells? Call me pessimistic but I don't think anyone genuinely smiles as much as Jayden is smiling and it's kind of uncomfortable in a way.
