"Good night everybody," I waved to all of my coworkers. They waved back as I got into my car. I was in a very good mood today and was thinking of a way to celebrate. I just can't keep still on this one. I knew it had to include my two biggest supporters and motivators. I pulled up to my aunt's house and took out my phone.

Me: Come over, movie night celebration
7:01 pm

BestFriend❤️❤️: You cooking???? 👀👀
7:01 pm

Me: Yes greedy🙄, meet me at the house in twenty
7:02 pm

BestFriend❤️❤️: I was already on my way over there 🤗 I'll just prep the things for you
7:02 pm

I smiled at the text she sent and shook my head. I swear, she has a whole house she doesn't even use most of the time. She's always at my place and if she's not there already or on the way there, I make her come over. She has so many things at my place you'd think she lived there. It got to a point she has more things at my apartment than her own house. It used to make her so mad to sleep her house just to drive to mine in the morning to get ready for work because all of what she needed was with me.

"That must be one good behind conversation for you to just be standing there with a smile on ya face." I looked up at the smirk on my aunt's face. "Since you obviously couldn't make it to the door I decided to be nice and bring Cadie to you."

"Thanks auntie," I chuckled. "I was just asking Mo to come over for a movie night."

"Mhmm." She gave me that 'yeah right' look. "It's okay. I'll just patiently wait for my second grandchild."

"Really auntie?" I laughed. "You know it's not like that between us. That's my best friend."

"And who's fault is that for? I've already told you what needs to be done. If you don't hurry and buck up someone else will and you'll be sitting here with the sad puppy face because you missed out on a good one."

"I hear you auntie," I said putting Cadie in her seat. "I gotta go. Love you and thanks for always watching Cadie. I know it's kind of a nuisance."

"Boy shut up. That's MY grandchild. I'll watch her whenever you need me to. We're family and I support you. I rather you give her to me everyday for free than for you to put out $100+ a week on a daycare/babysitter who would abuse my baby."

"You're right. But still, you didn't have to and I'm grateful to have you. Not many people can say they have the same kind of support I do. I gotta go though so I'll talk to you later."

"Be safe."

"We will." I got back in my car and pulled out of the driveway. Being a single parent is hard. Being forced into this position I have a new kind of respect for single mothers who can do it all with no help. I was completely clueless when it came to taking care of a baby and home. I know a lot of women don't have the guidance needed to successfully pull off being a caregiver but I was blessed enough to have my aunt, uncle, and best friend there with me through the whole way.

I pulled up next to Mo's car and got out. Cadie was bouncing with excitement when she saw the car. Like I said, Mo's around a lot so Cadie knows what car is hers. Besides me, Mo is her most favorite person in the world. We went inside and Cadie basically dashed towards the elevators.

"Mo!" she screamed running into the apartment. Mo was sitting on the couch on her phone when we came in. Cadie's sudden outburst scared her so bad she dropped her phone. I couldn't help but laugh.
