I didn't get much sleep last night. I was feeling bad about the way I just disappeared on Monique. I'm sure she was going through a lot and I just assumed the worst of her. I should've known she really wasn't like that. I shouldn't have jumped the gun like that. 

I had overheard the conversation with her friends and how they were the ones that got her to date those two guys. They were bad influences on her. I'll have to talk to Monique about choosing better friends in the future. She could've been in a lot of trouble because of them. If they were her real friends they wouldn't lead her down that path in the first place. 

I'm sure she's also a bit upset that I got involved so I have to find away to get in her good graces again. I'm pretty sure all I have to do is explain myself and she'll get it. She's not like other girls I've tried dating in the past. She's a lot more understanding than those women. She might not forgive me right away but I'm sure it'll make sense to her and she won't be as upset with me. We might even be able to go back to working on each other. With the thug in jail and the other guy infected with herpes I'm sure Monique will see I'm the best option for her to go with. She's been gone from her home all week so I'll just talk to her Monday at work. My phone rang catching my attention. "Hello?" I answered. 

"You never called me back," my mom said. 

"Sorry mom," I chuckled. "We were going through something so I had to hold the plan off a little."

"What happened?" She asked. 

"I found out the friends she's got her into some trouble and took it out on her. We hadn't talked much all this week."

"Jayden," she said disappointment laced heavily in her voice. "What did I tell you about just assuming the worst?"

"I know mom. I regret it but I hope she'll forgive me. I'm planning to do something for her soon."

"I guess I'll just wait until you two are back on good terms."

"No it's okay mom. She's pretty understanding so I'm sure she wouldn't be too mad to meet you."

"You sure? I can give you two time to get everything settled."

"It's okay mom. It was just a miscommunication between us anyway. Her so called friends are really to blame anyways. All we have to do is fix the problem and we're good."

"Okay," she said. "If you say so. I'm free this upcoming week so I guess I'll get a flight Sunday sometime."

"That's cool. See you later mom. Love you."

"Love you too."

So none of you are confused these next few chapters will be during the course of the day as Zy and Mo are on their date. Sorry if the chapter is short or sucks I'm tired as hell 😪😴. Y'all see Jayden got his mom thinking him and Mo dating? 😑😐🙄
