Hayden's POV:
Never in my life I could imagine myself skipping school. Back when I was homeschooled, my teacher would also tell me things not to do if I study in an actual school. One of those things is skipping classes.
Both of my siblings are high achievers and as the youngest and the last one to graduate, they set the standard high especially towards my parents and other relatives. Mahirap umangat. It was hard to do the same thing as they did because I'm not them, that put me in under pressure, too.
And from what I'm doing now, I'm skipping classes. What was my reason? A guy.
People can call it as a people pleaser because I can literally snap back and not skip my classes, but instead, I was the one who moved back and did everything so Nowen won't get to see me and because that's also what he told me.
Four days had passed since that started. Sierra and Hildi actually knew about it, nagulat din sila at naguluhan. I told them what happened and after that they just chose to respect my decision. Kahit gano'n, the both of them still made an effort to teach me some lessons that I missed when they would come home from their own classes. Ayaw nila na maiwan ako kaya kahit wala ako physically sa klase, at least daw ay alam ko pa rin ang daloy ng bawat lessons.
Aside from staying and resting in my room, just like what I said to Xandrick the other day, I sneak inside the park whenever I have the time. I also remember the time when I didn't saw him at the bench, so I went to his house by surprise. His house is clean and tidy, malinis din sa labas ng bahay. Isang beses palang akong nakapunta roon, pero parang feel at home na agad ako. Just like Xandrick, his house is also cozy.

"If you need something from the cafeteria, dadalhan ka namin pag-uwi. Although wala ka rin naman sasabihin, we'll get you something in case you'll eventually like it."
"Do as you please." natatawa kong sabi habang kumakaway kina Sierra at Hildi na palabas ng pinto.
"And Hayden," Hildi stopped in the midst of leaving. Nilingon niya ako bago muling nagsalita.
"Don't let anyone see you outside, chismosa mga taga-second floor. Mas malala pa mga nasa ground floor." paalala ni Hildi. Kinurot nalang siya ni Sierra bago hinila palabas. Tinawanan ko nalang sila bago hinawakan ang doorknob.
Nang maisarado ko ang pinto ay napabuntong-hininga nalang ako. I looked around the whole dorm and decided to just lay down on the sofa for few minutes.
I just took a shower. I can sneak out again so I can go to the park, mas maganda kung bago mag-lunch break ako pumunta para hindi ko maabutan ang mga estudyante sa labas.
Tumango-tango ako sa sarili ko bago tinaas ang dalawang paa ko sa taas ng sofa. I nearly got caught yesterday, I can do it perfectly today.
I looked at the wall clock near me. Ilang oras pa bago ako makakalabas, I can read Hildi's notes while I wait.
Kinuha ko kwarto ni Hildi ang ilang notebook na iniwan niya para saakin, bumalik ako sa salas at sinimulang basahin ang ilang lessons na diniscuss nila kahapon. It's good that Hildi likes to take notes.
It took me two hours to study one lesson since it's our major subject, inayos ko ang sarili ko bago binalik ang notebook ni Hildi sa kwarto niya.
