Death#42: Schola Periculo

A/N:
This chapter is all about the past of Morwittz, sa panahon nina Redvel at Ligia.

Redvel's Special POV:

"I never warned her at the first place." I said in full of regret.

We planned to transfer her to Morwittz because we thought she could handle it like we do, but we never expected that she'll go through a lot of mess. My parents were hesitant but I was the one who told them that she'll be okay. It was my fault.

"It's not your fault, it's no one's fault. Ginusto 'yan ng pamilya mo kaya don't act like you're the suspect here. Plus, Sir Joshenbert insisted your parents because of that stupid tradition." Ligia explained.

Dahan-dahan kong hinawakan ang kamay ni Hayden habang nakahiga siya sa kama, "God, Redvel. Where's your responsibilities as an older sister now? You're such a fool." I whispered at myself pero mukhang narinig 'yon ni Ligia.

"Will you stop? Stop acting like you tortured your own sister, Red. Stop acting like you're the one to blame. Stop telling yourself that you're not a responsible daughter and sister, how many times do I—argh—Just, stop. Okay? Stop." I looked at her as she sigh.

Naglakad siya papunta sa pinto.

"Thank you for helping me...again." Habol ko sakanya bago pa siya makalabas ng kwarto, nilingon niya ako.

She smirked, "Of course, we're bestfriends after all." she said before slamming the door shut.

I sighed before I stared at my sister's face while she's peacefully sleeping on the bed.

"I don't know what to do so you could forgive me." Yumuko ako nang magsimulang bumigat ang talukap ng mata ko, I looked up on the wall clock. 6:40 PM.

Humikab ako at ipinatong ang noo ko sa gilid ng kama, until I sighed heavily before closing my eyes.

Unti-unti akong umayos ng pagkakaupo nang magising ako dahil sa ingay sa loob ng kwarto

I opened my eyes and look around to know who's inside, lahat ng mga pumunta sa bahay ni lolo ay nandito. I looked outside the window, umaga na pala.

"Ate gising ka na pala." Tiningnan ko ang kapatid ko, may benda siya sa braso at gano'n din ang kapatid ni Ligia.

"Glad you're awake." Nakahinga ako nang malalim, Hayden is strong, I'm glad she's already awake.

"Hindi ka namin ginising pa kasi ang himbing ng tulog mo." Hayden held my hand, "I'm still hoping that I will get to see mamá and papá again."

I sighed heavily, "Soon, you'll see them soon." I gave him a tight smile.

"Uhm... Hayden's sister, can you do us a favour?"

My brows furrowed when someone called me, nilingon ko siya.x

"What?" I asked the kid, probably his name is Ivan.

"Ligia was about to tell us the story of Morwittz in your time but she suddenly changed her mind, can you do it instead?"

My face fell, if I ever got a chance to recall those memories, maybe I'll do it before I die. I never told anyone about what happened to our time as a students of Morwittz, ayokong maalala iyon.
