'My goal. My goal is to accomplish more than what my late father had. That is my goal, Sebastian. "Yes, Madame Jae."'

"Madame Jae, it's time to wake up." I heard Sebastian call my name and my eyes slowly opened. The morning sun was shining through the window onto my bed as Sebastian opened the curtains. "Good morning, Sebastian." I said as I stretched my arms above my head. "Good morning Madame." Sebastian removed the sheets and neatly folded them into a white basket to be cleaned. I brushed my teeth in the bathroom and washed my face clear of dirt. "I'm not interested in breakfast this morning." I said. "Understood. May you be interested in warm milk with sugar?" he asked. "Yes, of course." I stood next to the wall as Sebastian took off my night gown. "My plans for today?" I asked.

"Today, your mother has assigned a visit." Sebastian replied as he tightened my corset.

"Haha.. Easy, Sebastian. If I do say so myself, I'd say you're trying to kill me." I said with a grin. Sebastian gave a low chuckle.

"Now,why would I do that? You're much too beautiful for that." He replied. He soon laced the corset in place and fitted me into a beautiful black dress. I smiled at his dress decision. "Is something the matter?" Sebastian asked.

"Not at all. I guess you decided to match me up with your attire?" I asked. Sebastian smiled and looked at me with those beautiful bright, red eyes.

"Perhaps I did." He said. I sat on my soft bed stool as Sebastian zipped up my black boots. I sipped my warm milk and inhaled the sweet fragrance. What a lovely thing to smell in the morning.

"Denise!" I called from the hall and my maid came as soon as possible. "See that picture of my father?" I pointed to a golden framed picture of my father in his young age. "Take it down for me." I instructed and the portrait was soon gone from my sight. I walked to the window and found my other maid attending the garden. I heard a knock on my door. "Come in." I replied. Sebastian came in with a silver tray and placed it on my desk. I sat in my brown chair and smiled. Something about this demon that makes me happy all of a sudden. Is it his eyes or smile? Perhaps the way he does anything and impresses me easily. The thoughts are endless.

"Since you delayed breakfast, I have freshly picked strawberries chosen out by maiden Rose." Sebastian uncovered the delicious bowl of berries, and a big smile appeared on my face.

"Thank you, Sebastian." I said. I picked up a strawberry with my thumb and index finger and bit into the sweet berry, and the wonderful flavor flowed upon my tongue.

"I received a message that your mother will arrive soon." Sebastian noted. I smiled at Sebastian. "Madame Jae?" He called. "Oh,of course. See to it that everything is in perfect shape for her arrival." I finally snapped back to reality. "Is something the matter, Madame?" Sebastian asked. I drift off into thought every time I see him. Why does that happen? 'Quick, think of an excuse!' I quickly think of an excuse. "Why do you always say Madame Jae?" I suddenly asked.

"I should always approach my princess with a formal name." He replied.

"Please, do me a favor and just call me Jae when we are alone." I decided. Sebastian gave me a cute smile and bowed. "Yes, Jae." his voice sent chills down my spine. What is this? I can't be falling for this demon! Our deal was for me to give him my soul after fulfilling my goal of accomplishing more deeds than my father. I looked outside the window and spied a silver carriage heading into the drive way. "Sebastian, I sense my mother is here. Would you care to follow her every wish?" I said. "Understood." Sebastian replied and left the room. As the door clicked closed, I clumsily fell into my chair. "Jae, pull your self together! You do not love that demon! It's only been six years! Refuse yourself immediately-"
