Chapter 35: Chris Comes a Calling

"Daniel! Calm down!" I yelled at Daniel. His eyes were pitch black and his teeth were razor sharp again. I was in my lace gown, and he kept pulling at it angrily. Something was taking over him. Anthony tried to hold him back and locked his arms. "Brother! Calm down, please!"

"Elizabeth!! Stay away from him!!" Daniel screamed at Sebastian. Sebastian was just as confused as the rest of us. Since Sebastian was around me, did Daniel think Sebastian was the one who captured Elizabeth? I remembered his name, Christopher. Elizabeth, his fiancée who was captured and taken from him. The spirit possessing him is Christopher, a man who lost his love. "Daniel! Listen!" I called. Maddie stood in the the corner of the room, shaking in fear. These spirits and demons were too much to handle for her, I could tell.

Daniel elbowed Anthony in his stomach, and Anthony fell onto the floor, groaning in pain. "Anthony!" I called him. Daniel pushed me onto the floor. I caught myself and crawled over to Anthony. "Are you okay?" I asked. Anthony smiled. "Yeah. I'm good, Jae." He replied faintly. He tried to get up but I gently pushed him back against the wall. "No, stay still. Just stay here, okay?" I asked. He sat up and smiled at me. His left hand stroked my hair. "You are the strongest princess I've ever met."

"I'm not a princess." I replied and stood to my feet.

Daniel was throwing punches and kicks at Sebastian but couldn't land a perfect shot. "LEAVE ELIZABETH ALONE!!!" Daniel wasn't giving up at all. His movements and speed were catching up to Sebastian's in the blink of an eye. How is he in the same match with a demon? The scene is amazing! Daniel is being pushed by anger, but Sebastian is easily dodging his attacks. "Stop! Daniel!" I called, but he only got angrier. I remembered!

"Christopher!!" I called, and he stopped. His body was frozen in place, and he turned to look at me. "Elizabeth.."

He called his fiancées name again. His arms fell to his side, and he smiled.

"Elizabeth..I will save you...I will avenge you..." Tears streamed down his face. Daniel fell to his knees and shook violently. Everything was quiet in the room, and I walked over to Daniel. "Christopher, are you alright?"

Christopher's POV:

I looked up at her. Her beautiful brown skin, sweet round eyes, and long, black hair. Elizabeth, I missed you. How can you not remember me, your fiancée? If I hadn't left you at the engagement party, you would still remember. You would remember the days we spent together. Together, the two of us. Maybe that man wouldn't have taken you from me. He wouldn't have erased your memory! We would be in each other's embrace, forever.

Why can't you remember!?

Why?

Elizabeth..

Daniel was now crying blood, and I wiped his face, while holding back tears. Seeing Daniel like this, my old friend, crying blood made my heart feel cold. "Daniel..Focus..Listen!" I called for Daniel, but his eyes didn't fade. His eyes were soulless and pitch black. Blood dripped from his eyes, and I began to cry. "Daniel...Daniel.." I cupped his face in my hands and looked at him. Tears were falling from my eyes now, and I couldn't hold them back. I rested my forehead on his shoulder and cried. "I can't stand to see you like this..." I cried. Everything was quiet except for my cries that echoed throughout the room. Daniel suddenly raised my chin and stared at me. "Jae? Why are you crying?" He asked. I hugged him tightly and cried. "I have to get this spirit out of you! I can't take it! I can't...take.." I felt my body grow numb at his touch and the room shifted.

Daniel wasn't there in front of me anymore. "Sebastian!" I called. Sebastian wasn't there, and neither was Maddie nor Anthony. I was alone in which a place that looked like Heaven. "Will you make me yours forever," I heard someone's voice and turned around. A man with blonde hair, wearing a white and gold suit was on one knee, presenting a flashy ring to a beautiful woman with black hair. Her skin was exactly the same as mine and she wore a beautiful white dress. "And marry me?" It was Christopher proposing to his fiancée.
