The makeup company's leader is a....man?

Roger smiled at me, stepping even closer. "Madame, is there something wrong?" He asked. I shook my head and smiled, although I could feel my face heat up. "No, I just-" I was interrupted by Roger's hand as it grabbed mine. He kissed it gently and sighed. "Madame, could it be that you were expecting a woman meeting you?" Roger asked and I smiled.

"Haha..I'm sorry." I apologized and scratched my head. "You're forgiven, for your beauty is quite different from your sister's." Roger released my hand. I glanced away and tried to hold back another smile. I didn't expect him to be so handsome, or a man at all!! "Well, yes, shall we get started then?" I said and rushed to the love-seat. Roger and Maddie joined me as Sebastian gave us tea and a plate of biscuits. "What's your name fine man?" Roger asked eyeing Sebastian with a curious look on his face. "I am Sebastian Michaelis, the Drowed family butler. Nice to meet you sir." Sebastian replied and bowed to Roger. The smile on Roger's face grew bigger and he chuckled. "What a fine butler, Madame Jallerie." He said and sipped his tea. I smiled, hiding the embarrassment of my name. "You can call me Madame Jae, for we are business partners now." I said and placed my cup and plate on the table.

"Oh, speaking of business, I have something to ask you." Roger sat up in his seat, now showing a serious expression. "Yes?" I carefully listened. "How about selling both of our items in our stores?" He asked. I stated blankly at him. 'Selling both our items in our stores?' Weren't we already doing that? I blushed. "Come again?" I asked and Roger laughed. "For example, I could give you a few of my foundations and other beauty products to sell along with your clothes, while I do the same with you. How about that?" Maddie squealed happily at the idea, holding her hands together. "That's a wonderful idea! The more we sell, the more money we could gain for each store!" Maddie patted my leg, and I brushed her hand off.

"Yes, yes. Great idea." I said. I wasn't trying to be rude, but I was just utterly annoyed about today. First a murder case about poison and innocent victims, and now a meeting with someone I'm working with that I thought was a woman but turned out to be a man! The day is just surprising for me. "Madame Jae." Sebastian called. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked towards Sebastian. "It is getting late, are you alright?" He asked. I blinked trying to focus on everything, but I was truly tired. Roger stood to his feet with a sigh. "I should get going, too. Thank you for meeting with me." Maddie stood as well and walked him to the front door.

Glad that's over! His idea was edgy, but it was a good suggestion.

Suddenly I felt my eyelids go heavy and they slowly closed. "Madame?" Sebastian called, but I couldn't open my eyes. I felt myself be lifted and carried down the hall. "Sebast..ian.." I called his name with a weak voice. He shook me up and down slowly. "Go on to sleep. You need it." He whispered. I frowned in my sleep. Was he..cradling me like a baby? What is he thinking? "I'm not...a..baby." I complained. Sebastian sighed heavily and I could tell he was smiling. "No, you're not. But you are adorable just like one." I blushed and slowly opened my eyes. Sebastian's smiling face was there, and I blushed, my heart racing. Sebastian went into my room and lied me on my bed. He unzipped my shoes and slipped them off carefully. His left hand sat me up as his other hand unzipped my dress. The cold zipper slid down my back, and a cold breeze brushed against my body. The dress and corset was soon off and I sighed of relief. The corsets may look adorable and suitable, but they were really annoying to me. Not all women want to be that skinny! Sebastian placed my arms into my lace gown and fastened the buttons. He lied me back down against the pillows and unclipped my earrings. He pinched me, and I felt a sharp pain in my ear. "Ow! Sebastian!" I cried. I grabbed my ear, and my eyes flicked wide open. "My apologies, Jae!" Sebastian said and rubbed my earlobe. His fingers gently caressed my ear and soon enough the pain was gone. "It's fine." I said and grabbed a hold of his hand that was touching my ear. Sebastian removed his hand and leaned over me. His hair lied against my face and his red eyes stared into mine. "Good night, Jae." He whispered. His lips kissed my forehead and he caressed my cheek. "Good night." I replied. I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep. I felt the sheets cover me, and I smiled.

He is sure is sweet for a demon.

I tapped the desk with my nails and sighed. I was still thinking about Roger's idea for the company. I was also thinking about the murders as well. My eye twitched in irritation. Thinking about these things at the same time made my head ache. There was a knock on my door. "Come in." I said and laid my head on the desk. Sebastian walked in and smiled at my appearance. "You look confused." He said. I sighed and sat up in my chair. "I am. I need to clear my mind and think about something other than the murders and Roger's idea." I said and held my head with my hands. Sebastian laughed at me, and I looked at him with an annoyed expression. "I guess you wouldn't like to read another letter sent by the Sheriff then?" Sebastian held an envelope in between his fingers and handed it to me. I opened the letter and read through it. "Another murder. A mother of three daughters had been killed just last night. She wore another ring just like the others and was poisoned twice." I placed the letter on the desk and thought for a moment. So everyone that has been killed is wearing a ring and has two marks on their necks. Marks that are clearly too wide to be a needle injection. I bit my lip deep in thought. Why were these innocent people murdered and poisoned? What's the connection between the two marks and the rings? Suddenly I found myself staring at Sebastian's smiling face. His lips were perfectly curved into a smile and his eyes were looking right back at me. "Something the matter?" He asked. I smiled and shook my head. "Not at all." I replied. Sebastian grabbed the envelope and reached into it. "There seems to be a few photos as well." Sebastian handed me three photos and my eyes widened in surprise. There were twice as many marks on this woman than the others. I looked at the second photo and it displayed the face of the woman.

She looked exactly like Madame Kirsten!

"Oh my god!"
