I gently disinfected the three marks on Daniel's back and he groaned. "Just a little bit longer, Daniel." I assured him. It was hard to believe Daniel was missing for three days, yet he didn't remember a thing. The bite marks still oozed blood, no matter how many times I wiped it away. I sighed. What could have done this? I heard the door click open and Mr.Randolph came in with the Sheriff. "The hell happened in here!?" Sheriff screamed. Daniel stared down at the floor in confused shame, but it's not like he could control it. "Daniel was in some trouble, that's all." I said and turned to the Sheriff. He stared down at all the broken glass on he floor and frowned. "Gonna take some time to clean up. What exactly happened?" Mr.Randolph asked. "Daniel was possessed by something, but for some reason, when he looks at me, he turns to normal." I stated and sighed, not knowing anything else. Sheriff frowned and looked at Daniel. "You did this?" He asked. "I didn't mean to Sir.."
"Like hell you didn't!"
"Sheriff!" I yelled. "I think you should calm yourself down!"
Everything became quiet. I placed my hands on my hips and frowned. Bickering was getting us no where at all. It's time to think about the main problem, better than starting a new one. Daniel was bitten with three huge teeth marks, but was possessed as well. This isn't making any sense. Sebastian finished bandaging the policeman's leg and stood from his position. "I have finished attending the policeman, Jae." He said. I turned Sebastian as he smiled down at me. Why was he smiling? "Why are you smiling?" I asked quietly so the others won't hear. "No reason, Madame." Sebastian looked down at my hand. "Your hand is healed." He said. "What?" I asked confused. He grabbed my hand and gently untied the knots Anthony had created. My hand was scar free and looked as if the wound had never been implanted. Sebastian caressed my hand lightly with his fingers. "Does it hurt?"
"No."
"Then you are perfectly healed."
"But how did you..."
I stopped mid sentence, for he should know. He was after my soul. Of course he'd know what was going on with me. "With all due respect Madame, I'm not only after your soul.." I looked up at Sebastian in surprise and his eyes shimmered bright red. "Wha..what?" Did he just read my thoughts? Why does he keep doing that? How does he do that? "There's no way in denying it, Sebastian. I've decided that that's exactly what you want. Don't lie to me." I turned my back to Sebastian and saw Mr.Randolph handcuffing Daniel.
"OI!" I called out. "What in the hell are you doing?"
"This man is to be locked up after all his crimes." Mr.Randolph stated.
"Crimes? What crimes?" I asked.
Sheriff reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out four pictures. He handed them to me, and I hesitated to grab them. I prepared myself for what I would see and flipped the photos over. Four men were dead with a knife lodged into their hearts. I bit my bottom lip in deep thought. Daniel wouldn't do this, not the Daniel I know. "He didn't do it." I said. Everyone's eyes widened. "Wha-What do you mean he didn't do it!?" Sheriff asked angrily. "I'm saying that.." I couldn't for sure tell if he was being possessed and I really didn't have much evidence other than the three bite marks. You can't be possessed by three marks, can you? Unless magic was used, there's no way he could be possessed. If he was possessed, than who was possessing him?
"Elizabeth."
Daniel muttered a woman's name and his hands slipped out of the handcuffs. He turned to me and smiled. "Elizabeth..." he called her name again and stepped towards me. He stroked my cheek and looked into my eyes. "Daniel..what are you..." I couldn't focus on what was happening. Daniel came closer to my right ear and softly whispered.
