Chapter 10 - Enchanted Greetings

The night Gaston had tied Maurice to a tree in the forest and left him for the wolves, Lefou decided to untie the man and willingly take him to go find Belle.

''What are you doing "u

''Gaston is gone, he left us here, just trust me "

'' I have to go find my daughter. I have to find Belle "

''Alright, let's go, jeez Maurice. Someone is a little restless. "

The two men rode on Lefou's horse Buddy until they reached the castle.

''So what if the Beast doesn't want us to leave, then what ? "

''We stay there there until we get my daughter back. "

They arrive to see Belle and Beast reading a book. Belle was the first one to notice them.

"Papa, what are you doing ? You're gonna hurt him are you? "

Maurice looked at his daughter and thought, did she make friends with that creature then again she is protecting him.

''We're not going to harm him right Lefou ? "

''I guess, I'm really hungry though "

''We have a lot in common you know, we like adventure, we like to read "

''I don't like Romeo and Juliet though, too much heart ache and pining. " beast says

''You can read ? " lefou asks

''Yes, can't you ? " beast questions him.

''Nope "

''Why don't we go inside? "

They all walk into the castle
There are a lot of objects moving around. Lefou seems freaked out.

"Why is there a clock and a candle playing checkers? "

''That's what they always do deary, it's quite relaxing, tea? "

''Who are they ?"

''I'm Mrs. Potts "
''Cogsworth "
''Lumiere "
''Plumette "
''Chip "
''Chapeau "
'' Cadenza "

They all introduced themselves
''And who are you ? " Cogsworth asked .

''I'm Lefou "
'' You mean to tell us that you're named, the fool? " Lumiere questions.

''We'll have some tea. " Maurice spoke.

Mrs. Potts poured them some tea while Chapeau handed them a plate of sandwiches and cookies.

''Thank you " Lefou was unsure what to tell the coat rack.

They drank the tea and ate the sandwiches and cookies and was not sure what to do with themselves.

Lefou tries to make small talk. Maurice is given a sketchpad.

''You're a really nice featherduster " Lefou says

''Thank you, but I am already taken. " Plumette informs him.

''Really, who are you with ? " he asks

''Me " Lumiere added protestantly.

''Whoops " Lefou backs up in of being burnt by the tiny candle man.

''Hello, I see you two are occupied. " Belle interrups

'' Where's the master deary ? "

''He went to take a nap. Said he was tired. "

''Is he alright? " Maurice asked.

"He's fine, got bitten by wolves the other night. But that's a story for another day. "

"Oh " was all he could say and he went back to his sketching.
