Chapter 21

After Hayes pulls my face back an inch. I say, "um Hayes! Your mom saw us." I screamed.

"Yeah I know." He said grinning.

"What does that mean!" I say sort of laughing at myself.

"Well we both don't have shirts on, so the best thing to distract her was a kiss! Besides it was a pretty hot one." Hayes said smiling.

"True." I said realizing he was right.

"You need to wear one of my shirts, to the party." Hayes said to me looking down at mine.

"Uh, okay?" I said confused. Hayes got out of bed and walked over to his dresser. He pulled a drawer out and grabbed a shirt and tossed it to me.

"Here, that ones perfect." Hayes said, getting back on the bed with me. I held the shirt up in front of me and smiled, the front said 'Magcon' and on the back if said 'Grier'. I smiled and hugged him. I put he shirt on and got up out of the bed. I walked over to his door mirror and moved it around. It was sort of big.

"Now that is hot!" Hayes said sitting up. I walked over towards him and sat on his lap, Hayes in between my legs. I grabbed the back of his head and pulled him to to my lips and kissed him passionately, moving my head the spathe side and then finally letting go. Hayes sat back to his bed and grabbed my butt and pulled me closer. Then he grabbed MY neck and pulled me into a kiss. After the longest kiss ever. I laid down next to him laughing and breathing too fast and too loud.

"No, that was hot." I said to Hayes looking at him. He laughed and looked over at me. I scooted over towards his stomach, him still shirtless and rested my head on it. He wrapped his hand around me and his mother called us done to go. Hayes grabbed some random shirt and we went downstairs and hopped in his moms car.

On the way Hayes took a picture of him kissing my cheek and I could tell his mom looked back right when he took it. I'm surprised and glad she didn't say anything to us.

When we got there, we opened Katie's front door and followed to where we heard laughter. It was dark when we got there and I heard Effy calling my name.

"Dena, dena!" Effy and Pandora said, waving me over there. I looked at Hayes and he nodded in approval. I walked over to them and Hayes went over to a group of guys.

"Hi!" I said to Pandora.

"Hi Dena!" Pandora said happily as normal.

HAYES POV

Dena?" Chase asked me, looking over at Dena. I glanced over at her, talking to Effy and Pandora.

"Nothing, I really like her and she really likes me." I respond, looking back over at Chase.

"It doesn't seem like it" said Zach, barging in and checking out Dena. I looked over at Dena, looking over at me this time.

"What does it seem like?" I asked Zach.

DENA POV

"Um, I'll be right back, I have to go to the bathroom." I said to Effy, not knowing what to say to her question, 'Are you guys an item?'

I went to look for a girl who was supposed to be at the party who was apparently my best friend named Cassie. She was in a picture with me in my room. I looked around and saw a girl that looked just like Cassie. I tapped her on the shoulder and she turned around. She looked scared and then hugged me tightly, maybe even tighter than Hayes. She let me go and I took a deep breath.

"Dena! Where have you been? I haven't seen you around at school lately!" She said yelling.

"I've got to talk to you about something," I told her seriously. She grabbed my arm and I followed her into what looked like Emily's room.

"What is it?" She asked. I told her all about Hayes and Jordan and everything. She seemed like a really good best friend because the whole time she just sat there and listened to me.

"I think you sh-" there was a knock on the door. It then opened.

A blonde, buzz cut haired guy popped his head through the door and then he pulled in his whole body. "Hey! Someone told me you'd be here." The strange boy said.

"Sorry, I- I don't know you." I said sincerely.

"Oh, no it's fine. I was just checking in to see how you were doing. Which it looks like your fine." He said and started to leave.

"Wait, I didn't catch your name," I said just as he was about to leave. "Or who you are." I added. He fully opened the door and took a step closer.

"I'm your ex." He said.
