Chapter 46

Magcon time came around and we all got ready again and hopped on the bus. The car ride was crazy loud because we all threw candy at Cameron when he was asleep. A piece landed in his mouth one time. I think Shawn got a vine of it and then it was time to get out and go.

We took the back door to avoid loud screams and grabbing hands. A couple of girls caught us, but luckily they were cool and not loud. We walked in and got set up. We drank some soda, and as always, had some donuts. Then it was time to take pictures with some fans. I stood by the side and watched, but then, the girl getting the picture taken said, "Hey, come over here!" I jogged over and Hayes offered me half his seat. I sat down and the photographer took the picture, then the girl started crying and hugged all of us. I said thanks and she walked away, the photographer saying, 'next'.

"Stay here, for all the pictures." Hayes said to me, grabbing my hand.

"Okay! I will." I told him, excited to be in so many pictures with people. I got comfortable and got a ton of pictures with everyone. It was really fun and I felt like I got to be a part of the group. We all hung out and talked for a while and then it was time to go on stage in front of everyone. Hayes reminded me that I had to go up on stage to sing with Shawn. I flipped and thought that he might've forgotten, obviously I was wrong.

I walked up there and Hayes held up a blanket, covering my face so no one would see it. I thanked him, thought he probably only did it because I said that's the only way I'll sing with Shawn. Then Shawn walked on stage and the song 'life of the party' came on. Shawn sand the other parts and I sang the main chorus because it was the only part I knew. Right after the song finished, I jumped out of my chair and ran behind stage. I got so embarrassed. I probably sucked. I hid in a corner so no one would find me, but I was exposed so Hayes walked up to me.

"Hey!" He said excitingly.

"Uh, heyyy..." I said, blushing uncontrollably.

"That was good!" He said to me.

"Thanks! I appreciate it." I said, blushing again.

He smiled at me and then said, "Come on stage, were all gonna answer the fans questions. You included." So I followed him back onto the stage where just five minutes ago I had sang in front of hundreds of screaming girls. All the guys and I sat down in an oval semicircle and the fans asked questions. The order was Cameron, Shawn, Carter, Matt, Nash, me, Hayes and Mahogany.

Someone asked Cameron, "How much makeup is just enough before it's too much?"

He answered, "I'd like it if girls only wore mascara and eyeliner, personally."

He laughed and everyone screamed, Nash said, "that's hot babe" in a girl voice. All the girls screamed.

Then it was Shawn's turn, "When are the other songs on your album coming out?"

"Uh, six days. Yeah, I'm really excited" he said, and then the flashes of cameras followed.

"Carter!, has your mom ever grounded you? And how long?" Some girl asked.

"Uh, yes and it was for a month. I poured hot chocolate in her bed." He said, smiling.

Then it was Matt's turn, "Are you gonna keep on doing lip syncing vines?".

"Yeah, I mean it's not something I do for vines, I do it regularly, but yeah I guess." He said.

"Nash, are you homophobic?" The big question popped out.

"No, I've made slurs in the past where I was being stupid and didn't mean them, sorry about that but no I have nothing against gay people." He said solemnly.

"Dena, are you going out with Hayes?" Some girl asked from the front row.

My heart started pumping and I couldn't hear a thing. Until Hayes said, "Yes." Looking over at me. The crowd reacted all sorts of ways.

Then I walked off stage when I heard 'slut' but just as I was walking down the steps, I turned back around and sat down. I remembered that Hayes told me I can't keep running sway from things. He was right. I spoke into the microphone, "I'm not a slut." Looking over to the area I heard it from. The girl turned around and walked away. Then the crowd got louder and moved onto the next question.

"Will you be trying to do more youtube videos?" Someone asked.

"Uh, yeah hopefully." Hayes said, which I didn't know that.

"Mahogony, are you and Jacob an item?" Someone asked her.

She blushed, thinking of an answer, then said, "yeah." Confidently. The crowd got super loud and we all left the stage. I didn't know if it went we'll or what. We all sat down on the floor, I laid down, my head on Hayes thigh. It was time to go, we were all surprisingly tired.
