Chapter 28
"No it's not, Hayes!" I exclaimed.
"Yes it is Dena. If I didn't go into the woods, none of this would've happened." He said, now not crying nearly as much.
"Hayes, I love you. If you do this to yourself, your just going to rip yourself apart." I told Hayes, shaking him to come back to reality. Hayes looked up. This time, he finally stopped crying.
"You're right. I'm such an ass and I'm being so selfish right now. Let's just focus on you." Hayes tells me, looking at my eyes. The only thing I could thing of doing was sleeping. Apparently word got around and chase went home. Our plans got pushed back a day. Everyone was on Hayes and i's side. It was extremely supportive of everyone.
That night I checked my Instagram and Hayes posted a picture of us kissing onto his Instagram. Shit I though. I didn't want to look at the comments. Not right now, anyway. I liked it and took a screenshot of it. I hadn't been on Instagram in a while. I had gotten up to 1.3M followers. Jesus Christ where have I been. I posted a picture of the ocean behind my house and added a comment thanking everyone for being so supportive and also thanking everyone for 1.3M followers. People started spamming me so I turned off my phone and threw it above Hayes and I's pillow.
The rest of the night, Hayes comforted me and we cuddled.
