Chapter 43

It was time for all of us to go out on stage for Magcon. I was pretty nervous, I don't know why. We all went out, Hayes insisting on holding my hand. I thought it would cause drama again. The crowd was really loud and I almost got a headache. They were fun too. First, Shawn was going to side about five songs. I only knew a couple of them, and then when he finished, everyone screamed even louder than before. Then, there was music. I didn't know if it was just me, but it was weird. All these girls had payed to see a bunch of boys embarrass themselves in front of everyone. It was a little ridiculous. I just tried to sit down the whole time while carter dj'ed. Hayes couldn't dance because of his crutches, but it was fun to see him try. Then, everyone started taking vines while Carter turned the music up really loudly.

Then, Hayes walked up to me, making a vine at the same time. He took my cheek and laid his lips on mine, making the crowd react. I blushed so much. I looked at the crowd, some videoing me and others vigorously yelling. I couldn't quite hear them, which was good in my case, but it was going to go in the internet, and that is not good. We all kept making vines and then carter let me dj. I sucked so badly. All the boys started laughing. I blushed in embarrassment and sat back down then the boys started dancing again. Hayes walked up to me and grabbed my hand and some of the boys invited the hottest girls they saw (but didn't tell them) and we all danced. The girls were really pretty. And a little older. All of the guys got their numbers in private and I fist bumped them all. They laughed and their faces flushed.

We repeated this process for at least an hour and a half. Then, some girl managed to get backstage.

"Hey." She said, and walked up to me. I was reapplying my makeup on because I was so sweaty from blushing and dancing.

"Uh, hi? Do I know you?" I asked in a confused manner.

"Uh, no... But I know you!" She said, sitting down on the couch.

I walked over to her and sat on the coffee table in front of her. "Are you allowed to be back here?" I asked her, suspicious.

"No, but he real question is, are you?" She asked me in a creepy way.

"Uh, yeah, why?" I said.

"Well, you and Hayes don't even go together anyway. You guys aren't even a good match. So why are you back here?" She asked me in a snotty way. What the hell did she just ask me?

"Uh, what the hell did you just say?" I asked her ready to bitch slap her.

"You and Hayes are not meant to be!" She said emphasizing a couple of words acting like I was foreign.

"Who are you? Who do you think you are?" I said, practically yelling.

"I am Hayes ex girlfriend. Don't worry we were more than friendly." She said, acting all that.

Hayes walked in on our conversation from the side or something, "No, I'm not Dena." He said to me, starring me strait in the eyes.

"Oh yeah, then what is this?" She asked, showing me her phone, a picture of her and Hayes together. Him kissing her cheek.
