Chapter 14

“Yeah ok I will do it.”

Cher was really happy and she pulled me into a hug.

“What songs are we going to?”

“Well I thought we could do for good together and you can do you haven’t seen the last of me as a solo and I would do woman’s world. But I thought you could choose the songs we sing that’s why I told you to bring your iPod.”

“Oh that makes sense!”

 “Do you have any idea what songs you want to do?”

“I want you to do take me home and I thought we could do I got you babe.”

“Sounds good! Why don’t you go through your iPod and choose 3 more songs.”

“Ok.” I took out my iPod.

“Just be for you zone out what part of for good do you want to sing? Do you want the Elphaba or the Glinda part.

“Well I can do both but I prefer the Glinda part because it’s not as high.”

“Alright babe I will quickly learn the Elphaba part and we can give it a go at about 5pm which gives me 2 hours to learn the parts.”

“Ok.”

“You can also give you haven’t seen the last of me a shot because I know you know it.”

“How?”

“You didn’t think I couldn’t hear you when you were singing in the shower.”

I just sat with my mouth open. Cher just laughed.

“Alright babe I’m going to go learn the lyrics and stuff and you can choose some more songs.”

“Ok.” I then put in my headphones and started listening.

At 5pm Cher came back over to me, she put her arm round me and pulled out my headphones.

“Have you chosen the songs?”

“Yeah I have.”

“So what have you chosen?”

I handed her a piece of paper with 4 song names on it. The songs I had chosen were: The beat goes on, After all, Baby don’t go and All I ever need is you.
