I didn’t sleep at all. I couldn’t stop thinking about Jack. In one night I had fallen deeply in love with him. It was 4 am when I decided to get out my IPad and start planning the tour set list. I thought to myself ‘Hmmmmm…I want to do Dead Ringer and couldn’t of said it better. Oh and believe. I want to do the sonny and Cher songs that were going on our album so I got you babe, The beat goes on, All I ever need is you and Baby don’t go. I also wanted to do for good, after all and you haven't seen the last of me. I also want to ask Cher if I can do Defying Gravity…Hmmmm…’ While I was thinking, my phone went off. I looked at it and it was a text from Jack.

It said ‘Hey it’s Jack. I know it’s very late and you are probably asleep and you are my boss but I can’t sleep because I can’t sleep because I can’t stop thinking about you. I know we only met a few hours ago but it feels like months. When I first locked eyes on you it was like everything around me disappeared. It was like when Maria first saw Tony at the dance in west side story xx’.

I text him back saying ‘I can’t sleep either because of you. I said the same west side story line about you to mom. I have fallen in love with you without knowing you for long xx’ I sent the text and went back to planning.

I thought to myself ‘Cher could do take me home, woman’s world and heart of stone.’ I wanted to do I still haven’t found what I'm looking for as the opening. I thought about me doing strong enough and perfection and Cher does I found someone and if I could turn back time. I then ordered the songs in the way I wanted them so they were:

An hour after I texted Jack back my phone went off again. This time Jack was calling me. I answered it.

“Hello?” I said a bit shy.

“Hey I hope I didn’t wake you.”

“I haven’t slept and my phone is on vibrate anyway. What’s up?”

“I couldn’t figure out what to text you back so I wanted to tell you that…I…love…you…” I smiled.

“Are you coming to the studio in the morning?”

“Yes I am which means I get to see the most beautiful girl I have ever met…you.”

“You have never seen me without makeup and it is dangerous to flirt with one of your bosses. I have partial control over your job.”

“You wouldn’t do anything because then you wouldn’t be able to see me.”

“Fair point. Anyway it’s 5:45, I have put together a potential set list and if I don’t get some sleep mom is going to kill me as I have to be up at 7 and we have to be at the studio at 8:30.”

“Alright I hope you sleep well and I hope I can sleep because I don’t want to turn up to my first day working for you with no sleep. I don’t think Cher would be happy.”

“No that wouldn’t be good although I will tell her it was me who kept you awake.”

“And I kept you awake so we are even.”

“I really need to try and sleep so good night. See you in a few hours.”

“Good night beautiful.” Jack hung up. I put my phone and IPad down and I went to sleep smiling and blushing.
