They had done it. Markus and the others had fought for civil rights and freedom for all androids. They could now roam the streets with a great deal lifted from their shoulders and the chains of slavery broken.

You dashed from our house, your feet carrying you at what seemed like a thousand miles per second. You had a destination in sight - the abandoned house in which your favorite android lived, Ralph. A smile broke onto your face as the news echoed in your head.

Bounding the corner, you saw a familiar figure standing in the window of the house. The smile grew wider as you climbed over the fence, connecting bodies with Ralph in a large embrace.

"They've done it Ralph! You're free! You're free!" Your soft hands caressed his face as you pushed your forehead against his. His eyes lit up with a large smile, doubled the size of yours.

"Really? Ralph is free?" He began to twitch, which you concluded was out of excitement.

All you could do was nod happily, locks of your hair bouncing as you did so. You grasped Ralph's hand in yours and made your way onto the street, where parades of androids were already flocking the street. Shouts and cheers were heard for miles as a group of people celebrated their freedom, not only in Detroit, but all across the country.

Ralph admired your smiling figure as you led him through the streets, bouncing and skipping towards your house.

"This is the best moment of my life Ralph. Not because your people were granted their freedom, but because I can now see you completely happy, surrounded by friends and family. People who love you!"

Ralph froze, snatching your hand back, forcing you to slam into him. "Ralph? Is everything alright? You should be celebrating! You're finally free!"

He had always thought of you as a friend. Someone who cared for him and vice versa. But something about you celebrating right beside every android opened his eyes. You were family.

"Ralph wants to thank you. Thank you for being there for him no matter what. For protecting Ralph. He is very thankful."

Tears threatened to fall but you quickly wiped them away as you grabbed Ralph into a tight hug, swaying him about. "Of course Ralph. That's what I've always been here for. Now come on, let's go celebrate your freedom some more."

Ralph followed beside you, shouting in joy and appreciating the moments he's spent with you, including this one.

Ralph is glad he gets to celebrate this victory with you.
