After dating for three or so months, you felt it was time for Gavin to meet your family. He wasn't such a bad guy after you get to know him, as he only acted like a literal jerk the first few months of knowing you before asking you out and turning into a complete mussy ball of love.

"You're family is going to love me, I already know," his self-centered side never left and you felt it never would, "everybody loves me so."

"Oh, that's up for debate hun. Half the police force hates you." You patted his arm before knocking on the door to your house, a smile, though forced, making its way onto your cheeks.

"Wow, hurtful, don't have to be so real with it," Gavin quickly played along, wrapping an arm around your waist and plastering a grin onto his face.

Your mom was getting dinner ready, going all out with it when she really didn't have to. Your dad sat somewhere in his den, probably watching the game or something. And your sibling sat with you and Gavin in her room.

Her makeup littered the ground and any surface area as her hands hastily snatched brushes up and went to work on your boyfriend's face. She chose nice colors, ones that definitely matched up with Gavin's skin tone.

"So now we're going to add a nice glossy red coat to your eyelid, it'll really suit you." Her smile amazed you as she grabbed some mist spray and sprayed the brush with it to get better pigment.

Layering the colors onto her eyes, she held his cheeks in her palms, eyeing to see if both sides added up, which they didn't. With a howl of disappointment, she took off down the hall to the bathroom to grab a makeup remover.

You sat next to Gavin, his lips a dark red color, "I would kiss you, but I already have lipstick on. A thank you will have to suffice." You gave him a tight squeeze and whispered 'thank you' into his ear before your sister could scurry back.

With a chuckle, Gavin leaned into your ear, whispering seductively, "I'm only letting your little sibling put this God awful makeup on me because if I can impress your family then there's a possibility that I can get in your pants later."

You roll your eyes as your sister trots back in, makeup wipe in hand as she harshly wipes off the left eye, "Hey, hey, don't take my boyfriend's eye out now!"
