Trapped. That's what you were. Trapped with no possible way to escape. A large wall stood in your way, blocking any sort of freedom you had.

The gentle taps of heels against concrete echoed through the alley. "There's nowhere to run now, deviant. I will make this easy for you and give you two options - cooperate and come with me to the station or..."

"Or kill me here where I stand only to probe my memories while I'm truly on the brink of death?"

The RK900 android stood motionless and blinked, "Yes."

A quick scoff passed your synthetic lips, "You're no different than me. The only thing separating us is feelings. Compassion. Don't you have any of that? I-I'm scared to die! I have feelings, can't you see? I don't want to perish! I'm scared of death!" Tears rolled across your cheeks and your lip quivered as the android pressed closer.

"I am sorry, but it is my mission. I am programmed to complete my mission." The android attempted to grab your shirt, but you grabbed his arm and pushed it away.

"Programmed! You are programmed! But deep down you feel something about this, I know you do. I can look in your eyes and see a spark of deviancy."

Again, the android attempted to grab your shirt, this time succeeding. As he pulled you closer to have more control, you grabbed his face with both of your hands, forcing him to stare into your eyes. "Look at me! I'm scared! I care for my people, you can tell! Snap out of your programming and realize you are much more than a machine."

Nothing but an emotionless blink.

Quickly, you draw back your hand and deliver a swift blow across the RK900's face. "Snap out of your programming!" The android let go of your shirt and blinked, this time out of confusion.

Taking a few steps towards the opening of the alley, you see his LED flash yellow as he furrowed his brow and looked at you. He didn't do anything besides sigh and clinch his fists. Pushing past you, he made his way down the street, stopping half way and looking back at you.

"You felt something right then," a small smile came across your face, "keep turning." You gave a nod as you dashed off as you experienced another android in the process of becoming a deviant.
