Kali and Vishnu

Will you dwindle, will you disappear into the dark
Or will your countenance burn brightly into forever?
I hear dreams and visions fade with time,
Yet, you are in my thoughts continuously. Once we were
Joined in an adulation that expanded to the
Foundation of all. Before the first spark ignited; we were,
Now, we are. Whether you appear to me with
Wings dipped in blood, or with hair, dark brown
That touch the earth, and pierce the veil. I know
You, consort of the stars. You are birth, death,
And rebirth. You ride astride the liger
Into the mountains. Gods fear you, humans fear you,
The foundation of the universe trembles when
It hears your voice. I see you as my equal,
Duality from the beginning of time. Your yin to my yang.
Once, you danced on my body, raise me to immortality.
