A Boohoo Poem
©2018, Olan L. Smith
Ah, this is a wow day to write.
Oops, I just passed some pooh, phew!
Shh-t, it's my neighbor's dog,
Oh well, all is good. Now I hear
The owl hoot and the mouse eek,
And neighbors yada yada yada;
You know it is that wham-bam-thank-you
Kind of afternoon, um a copperhead
Just hissed at me, best move aside and
And avoid more of the neighbor's dog poop, smh.
Ick, I step in the yuck, now I have to clean my shoes
With my water hose. I think I'll get them back
And drop wads of chewing gum on their
Sidewalk, mwahaha! Yippie that will be a real dinger,
Bam! A home run right over the neighbor's fence.
(A.N. The point of this fun poem is to put as many interjections
Into a poem and still have a somewhat smooth flow.)
