I Hugged my Angel this Morning
©01-10-2020, Olan L. Smith
I hugged my angel this morning
I will cuddle her forever, she's my avatar,
Whether I fall asleep or am rousing,
I'm never lonely in this day or hour.
I hug my muse every morning,
And embrace her again, by mid-morning;
She stands beside me when I'm typing,
And talks to me even when I'm griping.
I kiss my guide when I say goodnight.
She caresses me on my pillow, an inner fire ignites;
Every guardian is a worthy mate
Every spirit come to us as a predicate.
So, never walk away from an angel, day or night;
Seek her in your inner self, do not fear the sprite.
Beckon her come, make her reveal her name,
Once revealed, she is your eternal flame.
