Vile: The Internet's Hateful Threads
©Easter, 14-April-2019
They throw stones, avoid those that fall this day
A toss here and there at us, does convey
Our blood and life for their sins, how dare you
Kiss the docile rock, their fate does come due.
Duck and beware, they aim to smash our face,
To twain our skull, and screw our mate's disgrace.
Hate threads trip all sure of foot. For certain
A hater's ill-will meets the last curtain.
A.N. This couplet poem expresses appall at the hate filled threads that I see on my Facebook news-feed, most coming from Christians, and on Easter Sunday to boot. For non-Christians please don't confuse these haters with Christianity. The Christian Right is nothing more than a political party that uses the name Christian to leverage power; there's no justification for hate, so don't try to explain yourself, you'll just dig the pit deeper.
