Update: I just kissed a boy besides Noah. Wow.

Sadie led me outside of the bar. The cold air hit my face and I instantly got goose bumps.

"Sadie what are we doing?" I ask as she yanked my arm. She then stopped me. "Mills you cant go around kissing Finn like that!" She sounded concerned. "What? we weren't-" "I know you did Mills and I'm happy for you and all but, it's Finn." She gritted her teeth. "I don't understand." I furrowed my eyebrows. "He likes.." Sadie struggled to even say an entire word, which was odd, especially for her. "He.." she struggled. "Just spit it out Sadie!" I raised my voice. "He likes boys too!" She said with a huge sigh. I stood there in silence.

He likes boys?

I repeated in my head.

"You mean he's.." I asked. Sadie just nodded.

Update: aw fuck.

Finn was a bisexual?

We were interrupted by Caleb, along with Finn and a few other guys I didn't recognize, coming out back from the bar.

I gulped.

"Hey ladies," Finn said, just as he always does. Neither of us spoke. I looked at the ground as Sadie put her arm around my shoulder. "Does anyone wanna ride?" He said, playing with his lighter as if it was a fidget toy. I noticed it, and it bothered me. "What's the matter? Don't like riding with older boys?" He teased us. Sadie looked like she was about to explode with anger. I just stood there looking like a creep. "I'll drive her home, thanks." Sadie said. She took my hand softly and led me to the car. I felt like a dumbass for going with Sadie, and I felt like a dumbass for talking to Finn. "Are you okay?" Sadie asks awkwardly. "No." I say softly. "Why didn't you tell me?" I turn to her. "I'm sorry mills. I didn't want you to feel abandoned," "Well I'm feeling like that right now." I say sternly. "I'll take you home then." She started the car. I stared at the dash board in front of me. It had a picture taped to it of Sadie. It looked like she was around ten years old. She held a baseball bat, and was smiling sweetly. I began to go into a sort of trance as I remembered. The word "baseball bat".

Flash back:

August 2nd, 1992

I tried to hit the ball as it flew towards my face. I missed. "Good try." Mom clapped softly. "Try again." We practiced baseball with my foam bat I got for Christmas.
"Don't eat that Millie!" Mom called as I stuck blades of grass in my mouth. "Where's dad?" I ask. I took mom's hand in my tiny one. "He's coming home soon." Mom said with fear in her eyes. A loud grumble noise made me turn to face Dad on his motorbike. "Hello you little bastard." He looked down at me and smirked. "Don't call her that Alan!" Mom said sternly. "What the hell am I supposed to do Karen?" Dad stumbled over to face her. "Call her by her own name would be nice." Mom picked me up in her arms. "Put that thing inside," Mom gave Dad a death stare, referring to his bike. "Hey. Don't tempt me, Karen." Dad went up in her face as he spoke through his yellow teeth.
"Dinners ready." She eyed her husband up and down and frowned at him. Dad grabbed mom's strand of hair, pulling her back. "Don't touch me." She jerked away. I just watched from below. "Get inside," Dad shoved Mom and I as Dad made a face that I could never quite figure out.

I heard a faint voice as I started to come back to reality. "Millie..."

"Millie." It was clear now. I could hear again. I realized it was Sadie, and we were still driving home. "Are you okay?" She turned to me. "Fine." I felt a lump in my throat.
