"I don't wanna fucking go!" I heard Finn scream from inside the house. "Everything we do for you, it's never enough, it's never enough!" I heard Finn's mother argue back at him. "It is enough Mom!" I heard him shout. "Jesus Christ," He scoffed. I peaked from outside the kitchen window, stained with fog and rain from earlier that morning. "I'm not going!" I heard him yell back at his father.

Finn's father was sick, why would he shout at him like that? I thought. "What the hell ever happened to you Finn?" I heard his dad speak out. "What happened to my son?" His voice sounded shaky. "this is such bullshit." Finn sat down at the kitchen table, his elbows on his knees, and his hands in his hair. I ducked, hoping no one saw me. There was a pause, then Finn's mother spoke up again. "You haven't gone to work either," she pitched in with his father. "Bullshit!" Finn scoffed. "No! No it's not Finn! I checked your shifts for the last three months, you never went!" She shouted with her finger in the air. "I-" he stopped himself, pulling on his face with his fingers, making the skin under his eyes droopy. He took out a cigarette with his shaky hands, trying to light it. I watched as his mom swatted the small white stick out of his hands and onto the kitchen tile below. My fingers lay on the window sill as I watched some more. I wanted to go in there and hug Finn, but I knew I couldn't. "And I won't have that shit under my roof!" Finn's Mom yelled. "Just stop it!" Finn shouted some more. This was getting out of hand. I thought. "So what is the reason huh?" His mother crossed her arms. "What?" Finn questioned. "What is the reason that you're skipping work?" She said firmly. "I.." the boy stuttered. "Are you screwing another twelve year old in the back of another car?" She raised her voice. "Mom!?" Finn had a disgusted look on his face. "Then what Finn?" She shouted. "It's someone. Okay? I'm seeing someone! What more do you want!?" He raised his hands in the air. "You can't, skip work for some girl." His mother closed her eyes in frustration. "Fine then! I don't give a scrap about her!" Finn scoffed.

My heart stopped.

What?

What did he just say?

Finn turned to the window, spotting me for a split second, turning back to his mother, and back at me again, realizing I was there. My eyes widened, and I ducked again, my heart beating faster. "Millie?" I heard him say to himself. "Millie?" His mother said, "who is Millie?" His father added. Finn ignored his parents, walking up to the door. I stepped back, tripping over a few garbage bins, and rolling over my ankle. I winced in pain as I held my foot. I wanted to run away, but I couldn't get up in time! "Millie?" Finn opened the fly screen door from the kitchen. My butt was becoming wet from the grass. I just breathed deeply and began to form tears in my eyes. They burnt, becoming almost a reddish pink as they glided down my cheeks. I couldn't believe what Finn had just said. I backed up my body against the fence of his back yard in fear at the boy with the curly hair. "Get away!" I cried. Finn tried to hold my cheek, but I didn't let him. "Mills, Wait!" Finn shouted after me as I struggled to stand up and run away. My ankle hurt so bad I limped through the freshly cut grass. Finn lived by the old train tracks. The train car flew by, making a loud noise, making me more stressed out than ever. I started to cry harder as I used the side of the garage as support for my body. Finn followed after me. I fell to the ground again, tripping over my shoe lace. "Ah!" I grunted. Finn touched my thigh, helping me back up to my feet. Finn's mother came stomping around the side of the house close to the both of us. I stood there like a prick, not moving at all. "Who is this girl?" I could tell his mom was pissed. I looked at Finn, then back at his mom, not knowing what to do. I wanted to speak, and cream my heart out through the roof tops what my name was, but I couldn't. My body tended up, and I fell to the grass, wiggling around like a worm. I was seizing again. "What the hell is wrong with her!" I heard Finn's mother scream with fear. "She's fucking epileptic Mom!" Finn shouted, holding me in his arms. I felt dizzy and I wanted to throw up. I gagged, making a strange noise. "Shit she's gonna puke!" I heard Finn say as he held me. "Call 911 Eric!" I heard his mother call. "Millie!" Finn slapped my cheek. "You have to stay awake!" His voice began to fade, and my vision blurred.

I remember being rushed down a long hallway that was very bright, with lights on the ceiling and a tube in my mouth.
