Update: I've made things up between Noah and I. I'm happy. The police are onto us and Noah's parents have filed a missing persons inquiry. We're screwed.

Noah and I had to stay away from the police. If they found us they'd take us back home, and probably charge us with car theft or some crazy conspiracy shit!

I walked down to the grocery store in town. It was nice out, and it wasn't raining for once. I looked in the produce section while Micheal Jackson was splaying on the radio. I hummed along as I grabbed some bananas and pads for Sadie. I then saw someone that I recognized at the corner of my eye. It was Finn. Maybe it was God trying to tell us we were meant for each other... or it could just be a coincidence.. yeah, I like the first idea better. I didn't really wanna talk to him for some reason. Maybe it was because I was embarrassed. My heart raced as I took my bananas and period pads and rushed into another section, hoping he didn't see me. There was no one in the store, which made it even more awkward. Sadie says Allentown is basically a ghost town, except around Christmas. I went up to the cashier, looking around as I watched the scanner beep. I tried not to look at the flashing red light, in case I might seize again. "How's it going kiddo?" She older lady smiled at me at the cash register. I shrug and lean on the edge of the counter. "I feel ya." She chuckled. "Wherever I go I always feel empty." I blurted out. "My husband says the same." I smiled at her. "Whenever I buy bananas, they always go bad so quickly." I stared down at the yellow fruit as the lady put them in a bag. "Well you can always take those old bananas and turn them into banana bread!" The old lady winked at me, making me give her a toothy smile. "Thank you." I smiled, taking the paper bag and walking out of the store.

I realized that the cashier was right.

If I were a banana gone bad, I would build myself back up again, and become banana bread. As disturbing as that sounds.. you get my point, right?

Update: I just got advice from someone. I gave her a real smile. And it felt good.

"Hey there baby," a deep voice spoke out from the brick wall behind me. I immediately knew it was Finn. I turned around as he caught up to me. "Hey," I smiled at him. "You've got a spring in your step." He crushed his cigarette and walked beside me. "Hey there's a pool thing at my place tonight, if you wanna come." He smirked. "Uh, yeah." I shrugged. "Ten thirty, baby." The boy flirted as he turned the opposite corner as I did. I gave him the middle finger with out bothering to look back at him. I stood in the middle of the street, but this time, I didn't scream, I jumped for joy and squealed like a mouse that just got proposed to. And with that, multiple thud noises startled me as the paper grocery bags broke through the bottom, spilling out the bananas and box of pads.

"Shit." I let out an anonymous groan as I picked them all up.

"Hey," I through my shoes on the floor as I came up to Sadie's bedroom. "Sads?" I called out. "I got your period pads-" I stopped myself from speaking at the sight of Caleb, sitting on Sadie's bed, on top of her. "Oh! Shit! Jesus!" I covered my eyes as Sadie put her shirt on. "Millie!" She stuck her head out the door as I passed her what she wanted. "Thank you." She whispered. I smiled at her and winked, making her face red. She the shut the door, and I was left to my thoughts, giggling at myself.

I couldn't believe what I had just seen.

Sadie, what ever the hell her middle name was, Sink.. kissing Caleb McLaughlin again. She always told me she was over him? I guess not. I grabbed Sadie's bike, which I hope she would let me borrow..
I road to Gaten's house. I really wanted to get to know Gaten better, since I've only talked to him a few times. I didn't wear a helmet because, I care about my head not getting smashed in two, I just don't give a shit about helmets! I thought of Finn as I switched the bike gears. I wondered what he thinks of when he sees me. I stared off at the blue sky behind some houses, not looking in front of me.

Bang!

Next thing I know it, I was on the the hot pavement, with Sadie's bike on the grass in the ditch beside me. "Aw." I grunted as I got up and dusted myself off. I had blood on my knee, but it didn't hurt that bad. I wiped my nose and looked for Sadie's bike. A shadow startled me as it hovered over my body. I spun around, squinting from the sun. It was Gaten. "Oh, hey Gaten." He helped me up with his hand in mine. "What the hell are you doing on the ground?" He chuckled. "I fell over." I say flatly. "What'd you fall over for?" He questioned. "Well, I didn't do it on purpose!" I grabbed Sadie's bike, hoping that it wasn't scratched.
Gaten took me inside his house. It was nice. But much different than Sadie's. He lived in a town house, so there was an identical house attached to his.

I looked at all of his book collections. I can now see why Noah was so obsessed with coming over here. He had everything from WW2, to cook books, Roman history, and love stories.

Today was a happy day.
