I was sat down on the couch with Noah and Sadie as they brought me inside. I stopped crying, but there was dried tears on my cheeks. "Millie, what were you thinking?" Sadie hugged me. Noah crossed his arms and stood in the corner of the living room. "Are you on fucking drugs?" He asked me. "What?" I stuttered. "What the fuck are you doing Millie?" He walked over to me. "Noah," Sadie tried to stop him. "No, I need to tell her." He sounded pretty fucking angry if you ask me. I was honestly quite scared, I've never seen Noah like this. "Everyone has seen you Millie and everyone needs to tell you. You need to rest! You need to stop smoking, you need to get back on your own two feet and not let me do all the work! And you can't go around kissing boys like a fucking stripper." He said sternly in my face, making me pissed off. "I'm not a stripper!" I shouted back at him. "Guys!" Sadie tried to call us both down but nothing worked. "You're a fucking stripper just like you're mother! Why did you even bring me along with you! You said you'd be looking for a proper life, a new life. This doesn't seem so new to me!" He pointed a finger in my face. "How dare you call my mother a stripper!" I screamed at him. Sadie backed away behind Noah, holding his arms back as if he was about to pounce on me like a cat chasing a mouse. "I know what you did in the bathroom that night with that Finn guy! I saw you from afar because you told me to "go home"." He mimicked my voice. "You said you're fine, you said you're okay. Do you seriously think that I don't see you pretend to take your pills but just throw them in the toilet when I'm not looking? Or say "I'm fine", but wipe your tears from crying that night before? Because every time you smile it's fake! Stop pretending!" He shouted. "I'm not pretending!" I stood up in front of the boy. "You're a bitch! And you know it." I yelled back at him, spitting a little. "I made a fucking promise, to your mother, the day that she died Millie!" He screamed. "I swore to fucking God, that I would protect you!" "So what? I don't need protection! I'm an independent woman!" I yelled back. Sadie started to form tears in her eyes, and I didn't blame her for it. I started to sob too. "If you were independent, than how do you explain all the scars on your back from when your dad beat you every night because you said you did your homework but you lied! You think I don't know that?!" He scoffed. "It's not of your god damn business!" I shouted. "Guys stop!" Sadie stood between us, separating our bodies from each other. "What are you doing? Look at what you're doing to one another." She said strictly. "Go to hell." I stared at Noah. He took his jean jacket, and walked out of the house, not bothering to close the front door. "Millie," Sadie started to hug me, but I softly pushed away, grabbing my jacket, and walking out. "Millie wait!" She said with her hand son her head. "I don't want any part of this." I almost whispered in her ear as I passed her and walked the opposite way Noah stormed off. Sadie stood in the door way, still shaking from before.

I walked for an hour. The sun was setting and made the sky a beautiful pink and yellow.
I had no where to go. I could go to Gaten's house, but Noah would know where I was. I walked along side the free way, as cars rushed passed me, making my hair fly in the wind.

Finn's.

I could go to Finn.

He was the only one. I didn't care if he was bisexual or gay or straight or what ever. I just wanted to be with someone who understood me. I had no where else unless I slept on a park bench the whole night which did not sound pleasing.

I walked to a telephone just outside the bus stop. I remember Finn's number from that earlier night. I punched in the numbers as the phone dialed up against my ear. "Hey," a deep voice spoke. I couldn't speak at first, but I forced myself. "Finn?" I began. "Who's this." He asked. "It's Millie," I stuttered. "Hey baby, what's up." He flirted, making me smirk. "Can I come over? P-Please." I sounded desperate.
