Update: somebody help me.

I was still pinned to the ground, as my mouth was covered my a single hand. I screamed as tears ran down my red face. I found it horrifying that no one could hear me scream.

I was then pushed into the ground my a jolt. It hurt. Then he hurt me again, and again, and again. He then let go of my mouth, making me release spit and painful noises out of my mouth. I felt my body release from the person on top of me, hearing their footsteps as they ran off behind me, leaving me there on the cold concrete. I breathed heavily as my arms shook, hoisting my body up. My pants were almost off. What just happened? I was confused. I coughed roughly as I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand. I sat there, shaking like a baby's rattle toy. I slowly put my underwear and pants on again, struggling to stand up. I sobbed quietly as my nose bled. I wrapped myself in my coat, and started to limp the direction home. A million thoughts were going through my head.
What had just happened?

I slowly opened the door of Sadie's house. It was like our hideout while the Police were around I guess you could say. "Mills?" Sadie said, rushing over to me. "Jesus!" She said. "Noah!" She shouted. Noah and Gaten came rushing into the room. "Call the doctor!"

I was sat in an uncomfortable chair in a white room. It made me more uncomfortable. The lady stripped me naked, only leaving me in my underwear, while she took pictures of me for bruises and evidence of sexual assault. I blinked at the camera light flashing. I was then put into another room where a man questioned me. I lowered my head the whole time.

"Did this man hurt you?" He asked, with a pile of paper in his hands. I nodded. "How did he hurt you?" I didn't answer most of the questions. The man finally got fed up and left the room in frustration. That afternoon I was sent home again.

I sat in between Sadie and Noah, while Gaten sat in front of me. We sat in a puddle of quiet. I sat for about ten minutes, when I broke the silence.
"I'm sorry." I said quietly, almost like a whisper. Gaten looked up at me, as well as Noah. Sadie stood up, and smoked in the corner of the room. "This isn't your fault, Mills." Gaten said, sounding like I should have known. I didn't speak for the rest of the night.

9:56 pm.

I lay on the couch, staring at the ceiling in blank thought at what happened to me today.

I. was. raped.

I've read stories in magazines and on the News about young girls getting pregnant easily, which made me scared even more. I shifted over to face the door. I heard Noah and the others talking from the kitchen.

Noah was talking about me to Sadie and Gaten. I listened carefully and quietly.

"When did the seizures start?" I heard Sadie's faint voice speak out. Then Noah spoke. "She was about nine, I think. I was.. on vacation at the time. She only told me when she got back." More silence filled the room. I waited for someone else to speak. "Her dad, at least drank himself to death." Noah said. "But I made a promise.. to her mother. On my twelfth birthday."

Noah's words created a memory in my head.

Flashback:

September, 1997.

"Noah!" I yelled from the playground swing. "What?" He shouted back from the monkey bars. "The storm troopers are coming!" I pointed at the sky, pretending to play Star Wars. We used pool noodles as lightsabers. "C'mon Chewy!" Noah yelled, pretending that Chewbaka was there with him. "Get to the ship!" We shouted. The rain started to pour onto our little heads. We finally reached the slide like it was a life or death situation. We hid underneath it, until Noah's mom came to pick us up.

I shook my head, releasing my brain from the consistent memories and thoughts in my brain, and continued to listen to Noah speak.

"I made a promise, that I would protect her." He said softly. I formed slight tears in my eyes at Noah's words, but didn't allow them to fall from my eyelids. "Millie was, always a difficult kid," Noah began again. "even when her mom was around. She used to make up stories, and lie. There's really no harm in her, she's just... difficult." I could tell that Noah was on the verge of pouting at his own words. Sadie and Gaten stayed silent. "What causes them?" Gaten cleared his throat. "Oh, em, mostly flashing lights, and heavy breathing." He said.
"You will help me look after her won't you?" I heard him say. "I'm the only family she's got." A tear finally escaped my eye. I quickly wiped it away as I saw Sadie come into the room. I pretended to be asleep as she lay down beside me, spooning me, like we were a couple. I felt safe for the first time in a while.
