Alpha Syms's private box was buzzing with activity. There was music playing in the back ground as a catering group prepared a buffet style lunch. Alpha Syms and Alpha Whitebeard, friends and long time allies, were drinking and discussing the situation between Whitebeard's youngest and Greystone's oldest. He interrogated young Alpha Sloan and his friend and ally, Alpha Snow before agreeing to assist the young were by speaking to the council on his behalf.
It was a fortuitous moment for Sloan. Not only did he gain a hand in his dealings with the council regarding his young mate, he also gained audience with the alphas of Dark Moon who would wind up being powerful allies for the Whitebeard pack if he opted not to pursue his place as alpha of Greystone.
The door opened and Syms smiled broadly. The 6'6 sixty-five year-old alpha with short silver hair and sparkling amber eyes made his way to the center of the room.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome Alpha Raven Blackhawk of the officilly recognized Blackhawk pack."
There were claps and cheers as they slowly entered. Five voices suddenly called out
"Mate!"
The room went still. Everyone looked around with shocked faces.
Raven and Midori had their eyes locked on a light skinned, dark haired older man with salt and pepper hair standing beside Alpha Syms. The shocked older beta looked the two younger alphas with furrowed brows of confusion.
The albino with Raven felt his heart rate kick up as Alpha Snow took a step toward him. Before he could say anything, the albino bolted. Snow chased after him.
"Get back here, Bunny!"
Everyone remained speechless unsure what to make of what just happened. Syms smiled and raised his drink glass in a toast as if he was completely unbothered.
"Sooo, looks like we'll be mixing a little more pleasure than business into this luncheon."

Bunny panted as he dashed down the stairs. He could hear Snow calling his name but ignored it. This couldn't be happening! No, no, no! Anyone but him!
>Don't be scared, Bunny. The moon goddess- <
>Shut up, stupid wolf!< He shouted to his wolf.
His wolf huffed with great indignation. >The nerve!<
"Bunny, stop!"
Bunny kept going. He had no clue where he was going. He wanted out. "No! This is wrong!"
Snow swore then grabbed the rail on the stairs and jumped over. He landed on the stairs in front of Bunny making them crash into each other. He pulled Bunny to him and covered him with his body as they rolled down the rest of the flight of stairs. He hit the ground with a loud thud, groaning as a few ribs cracked under the force and added weight.
"Oh my heavens! Snow, are you okay?" Bunny fussed over him looking for injuries while trying to the ignore the sparks tingling his flesh wherever he was touching Snow.
Snow held his face in his hands. "I'm fine. Are you okay?"
Bunny got up and helped Snow to his feet. "Are you sure, Snow?"
"Bunny," he gripped his hand and held it to his chest. "Why did you run from me?"
"We can't be mates," the albino insisted.
"You feel the sparks. I feel the sparks. We are."
Bunny shook his head. "No. Snowden, we can't."
