Ari was too heated after their encounter with Rico's ex-mate. Since they weren't needed by the council, they decided to go for a run then go to Beaver Moon pack, Rico's home pack. On the drive over Rico told Ari all about his pack. He told him about his family history and what to expect when they got there.

Two weres around 7ft of pure muscle stopped them at the gate. Rico swore he'd seen their faces somewhere. One of the hulks leaned down and peered in the passenger side. Rico flinched as he smelled him.

A look of recognition came across the giant's face and his eyes misted over. "Primo?"

Rico frowned. Then it dawned on him. "Oh my heavens!" He pushed the door open and jumped into his arms. The other giant joined in the hug.

Rico stepped back and took them both in.  "You guys are so big! Oh my gods!"

The one on the left had dark green eyes.  "Primo! It's really you!"

"We've missed you so much!" The first one said hugging him again.

Ari cleared his throat.

Rico wiped the tears off his cheeks. "Sorry. Alpha Ari Silver, Guillermo and Eduardo. Beta Chevy's twin little brothers."

Ari's eyebrows went up. There was nothing little to be said abut those giants.

"Guillermo and Eduardo, Alpha Ari Silver of Dark Moon. My mate."

Guillermo with the green eyes held his hands up to his face and squealed. "Ohhhh!"

Eduardo crushed him to him in a hug. "Welcome to the family!"

Ari weakly patted his back as he was suffocated against the younger's massive chest.

Eduardo opened the gate. "You gotta hurry and get to the house. Mami and titi are going to be ecstatic!"

Rico smiled and waved to them. "Thanks, guys."

Thanks to the twins' howls, as soon as they reached the pack house, the car was swarmed by his relatives. He had to wade through a sea of his aunts, uncles, cousins, and siblings to reach the porch. When he did, he was crushed by his mother and father. The three rocked back and forth, hugging, kissing, and scenting each other. The tears wouldn't stop.

It felt good to be home.

"So, Rico. Who is this fine young man?" one of his aunts asked.

Ari pushed his glasses up on his nose and put the photo album down. The minute they'd gotten inside the house, his family ushered the alpha into the living room and talked his ears off about his mate, their beloved family member. Then the cooks took off to prepare dinner dragging Rico with them, and he was left looking through photo albums and answering questions.

Rico took Ari's hand in his and blushed. "This is Ari, my mate."

His older brother took in Ari's appearance. The alpha had undone his signature braided Mohawk and his honey blonde curls hung down to his shoulders. He had on a band tee and black jeans with boots. His blue eyes were hidden behind thick black rimmed glasses.

Mercurio put his hand on his chin and looked back and forth between Ari and Rico. He inwardly cringed at Rico's open black button down with horrendous pink flamingoes all over. "This nerdy looking rocker is your mate?"

Rico nodded.

A huge grin broke out on his face. "I like him. He balances out that kitschy, Florida tourist vibe you got going on."

"Hey!" Rico shouted looking at his shirt.  It was so awful it was awesome.  What was he talking about?

Ari burst into laughter. He could see where a lot of Rico's personality and mannerisms came from. The entire family was laid back and easy going.

The door opened and a woman came flying in looking around wildly. Her eyes, the same as Rico's, welled with tears the minute they landed on him.

Rico felt the lump form in his throat and the tears well up. Before he knew it, he was sitting on the floor holding his twin as they bawled their eyes out. Everyone left them alone and went on preparing for dinner.

Halfway through the meal, Chevy's parents arrived. The waterworks started all over again. Once calm they began to complain how their sweet chipmunk didn't come home and how they wanted to meet this Commander Barbosa they heard so much about. Rico felt a sense of pride as he told them what a strong capable beta his little cousin was and how he was helping Rico heal and adjust after being rescued.

The family was saddened and enraged when they learned of his kidnapping and the years he spent captive. They had to hold Mercurio and the twins back. They wanted to charge over to Blood Moon and beat Isandro to a pulp. His sister explained that after the shock wore off, she broke up with him and they all went after Rico.

For the second time he was floored. He always thought, because of his parents' friendship with Isandro's parents, that they wouldn't care Rico had been rejected. But they did and they had been pissed. Like Chevy said, they even looked for him. Not only that night but daily for years.

He felt his connection to his family rebuilding and the hole in his heart closing.  Ari was right. Coming had been a very good idea.
