Snow's mother, the former alpha leader, and his grandmother came to visit them at Frost Moon after the failed rescue. One of the high ranking weres captured had been an elder from their pack with mystical powers. His loss was felt deeply. The two former pack alphas were coming to discuss the incident.

Even though Snow gave him a week and a half to prepare, Bunny was a wreck inside. What would his mother and sister think? He had already run away from home and disappeared from their lives for over ten years and still had to answer for that.  He went rogue and allowed his ranking to slip.  Now he was mated to the new alpha leader, his nephew.  Incest was common with twins, fathers and daughters, even mothers and sons and sisters and brothers but not too often with fathers and sons or nephews and uncles.  At least not in Frost Moon.

He closed his eyes and breathed deeply as Snow embraced him. Snow always smelled like the pine trees of the region and freshly fallen snow.  Bunny found his scent soothing. He laid his head on Snow's shoulder and hugged him tightly.

Snow kissed the top of his head. "Relax, mon lapin."

"I'm not ready to face them," Bunny mumbled. "I ran away from home. I stayed away and didn't contact anyone and now this."

"They understand. They'll forgive you."

"They aren't all you, Snowden."

"No. But they helped raise me," he cupped Bunny's face in his hands and kissed his nose. "It counts for something."

The doorbell rang and they pulled apart. Snow went to open the door while Bunny stood in the living room and collected himself.

"Snow! My favorite grandson!"

Snow chuckled. "I'm your only grandson."

"Pshaw. I missed you."

"Me too, mena."

He heard their approaching footsteps. Bunny's chest felt like it was being squeezed. His hands started to sweat and he wanted to run away as he met his mother's sea blue eyes. The same color eyes as his sister and nephew.

Minerva's eyes were cold as ice as she stared at her son. To make matters worse, a quiet, tight lipped, 6ft Terese, Snow's mother, stood beside their mother with the same cold stare. He dropped his gaze.

He couldn't breathe. The room suddenly felt claustrophobic. He needed to get out. Everything sounded like he was underwater.  Panicked violets looked around the room for the nearest exit.

"Don't even think about it Leveret Michel Neige," his mother warned.

The strength of the alpha command hadn't diminished in his elder and he felt compelled to stay.  Even at 43 his mother frightened him.  But he had been an alpha once and he was a trained warrior.  He shook it off and bolted for the back door. The door hit the wall with a slam as he yanked it open and eyed the treeline of the forest. Blood rushed through his veins as he pushed himself to run as fast as he could. He wasn't ready. Not one bit.

He was halfway across the yard and near the entrance to the forest when he was tackled by two wolves.  One white and one silver.  By the floral smell emitting off both he knew who they were and cursed himself for neglecting his cardio and not being faster.

His mother and sister shifted back. His mother pinned his arms down while his sister sat on his chest. Despite their ages, these women were still strong.  His head snapped to the left and his cheek stung.

"That's for running away from home!" his mother yelled.

His head snapped to the right.  That one made him tear up.  The woman hit like a man!

His sister grabbed him up by his collar. "And that's for not calling!"

They hauled him to his feet and engulfed him in a tight hug. He blushed crimson as their naked lady bits pressed against him.

His sister kissed him all over his face. "It is so good to see you again, Bunny!"

"You have grown into a fine young man." Minerva pulled back and held him at arm's length.  She smiled taking in his robust muscular frame.  Last she saw him, he was wasting away from rejection sickness.  "I must thank Alpha Blackhawk for taking care of you the last five years."

Bunny's eyes went wide as he held his burning cheeks. "You knew where I was!?"

Minerva smirked at him. "Of course."

Snow came up behind them and handed them a housecoat. "You did, Mena?"

She nodded and put on her housecoat.

Snow turned to his mother. "Why didn't you tell me?"

Terese laughed at her son. "So you could kidnap him? No."

"But-"

She ignored him and headed back to the house. "Everyone knows of your obsession with Bunny. There's no way we'd tell you. Besides, we decided to let Bunny do as he pleased."

"What about me?" Snow whined. "I suffered for all those years."

"It worked out in the end."

"Ma!"

She touched her head as if she had a headache. "Don't be a brat, Snowden."

"I-"

Bunny shook his head and grabbed his frustrated mate's hand. "Let it go. You can't win with these two."  A smile tugged on his lips.  At least he'd gotten their forgiveness.
